My Substitute CEO Bride (Nash Calicraft) novel Chapter 2759

Watching Sidney walk toward Nash, Tamsine could no longer suppress the emotions inside her. She wanted to step forward and hug this sensible child, but Fogort held her back. He did not want her to move any closer.

Disheartened, Tamsine lowered her head, not daring to look at Sidney anymore.

Fogort embraced her, and the two of them clung to each other, shedding tears that were mixed with pain and happiness.

Sidney arrived in front of Nash. “So, you’re Mr. Calcraft,” he said.

“Yeah, let’s go. I'll take you away,” Nash replied.

Sidney nodded. Essentially, he was now a bundle of energy. Although he had absorbed the other four weapons, they had all been partially integrated with the Heaven-Shaking Tome. Nash could take all of Sidney's powers away now.

The little boy nodded obediently. Nash then began to absorb his true energy. Sidney turned to look at his parents. Fogort's eyes were filled with determination, which reassured him significantly.

Still, Sidney said to Fogort in a childlike voice, “Daddy, Mommy is a good person. Please don’t let her be sad anymore.”

There were not many embellishments in a child's world. Everything he saw and thought, he wanted to express plainly. He hoped his parents would be happy and not cry over his departure anymore.

After absorbing all of Sidney's powers, Nash mastered the six weapons and became the human emperor. However, he did not feel any significant change within himself. It was likely that the Heaven-Shaking Tome had integrated with the other weapons completely.

Just then, an old priest appeared before Nash. “I've obtained all Six Ritualistic Weapons and become your successor.”

The old priest shook his head.

Nash frowned. “What do you mean?”

“Hurry up, Aubrey! If we delay any longer, we won’t make it!”

“I know, I’m coming, I’m coming!” Fogort quickly stuffed all the luggage into the car's trunk.

Tamsine would be the driver. Silence fell over them, and eventually, she spoke up, “So, where are you planning to go next?”

“Anywhere’s fine. I've talked to my master from Goodspear Mountain. He supports my decision not to return.”

“Anywhere?”

“Yeah, at least out of this city.”
