My Substitute CEO Bride (Nash Calicraft) novel Chapter 2373

Their faces were filled with smiles as the sunset painted the sky in shades of red.

The siblings finally reunited. At that moment, words were unnecessary. They hugged tightly, feeling the changes in each other and the beats of their hearts.

At that moment, they were truly happy.

Clayton introduced the siblings to each other, and Chuck, being considerate, said, "Hi, sis!"

He smiled, and so did they.

After Charlotte explained why she had come, the three of them visited Nestor's grave together. They shared their experiences with their father and promised to look after each other.

As evening approached, Clayton suddenly remembered the elderly man and suggested they check on him.

They found the old man, who had removed his disguise and was now sitting on a bench.

"Who are you?" Clayton asked.

Dusky did not respond immediately, but Charlotte managed to pierce it together from her brother's story.

She realized that this man was the one who had helped her reunite with Clayton. She stepped forward and said, "Thank you."

Dusky waved his hand dismissively. "I didn't do anything. Your reunion was destined by fate." Then, he began to walk away.

"Where are you going?" Charlotte called after him.

"Will you stay with your brother?" Dusky asked directly.

Charlotte thought for a moment, then nodded, saying, "At least for now, I want to stay."

Dusky did not turn around but softly replied, "Okay."

...

Charlotte planned to stay for a few days. Now that she had family, she had a sense of belonging and support.

Astin also decided to stay because his review process required more time. It would take at least a few days before he received any news, so it was not too late to return afterward.

Dusky, however, chose to keep an eye on them from the shadows. He lied about leaving as he was actually observing from a distance, trying to determine who the other candidate for godhood might be.

During the next few days, the Calhoun siblings often wore smiles on their faces, and even the neighbors could feel their joy. They shared in the siblings' happiness.

...

A bus reached its stop, and Zenon stepped off.
