Vivian's heart skipped a beat. She immediately asked, "A couple? Are they in Graystone? Mr. Marshman, do you know anything more about them?"
Her mind raced. She wondered if it was Joe and Skylar.
It had to be. There was no way it was just a coincidence.
For so long, she had been in the dark about the copper mirror her parents were desperately searching for. But Alger's description left no doubt—it was the one with the dragon etched on the back.
Alger shook his head. "I don't know much. I only paid attention because it seemed so peculiar—why would anyone go to such great lengths to find a copper mirror?"
Seeing that Alger had no more information, Vivian decided not to press further. But in her heart, she was already convinced. Graystone…
Her parents were in Greystone.
Her eyes reddened as she turned to Manfred.
Noticing the shift in her expression, Manfred shot to his feet, his gaze sharp and accusing as it landed on Alger. "What did you say to her?"
He had been distracted, discussing their plans to leave Valrio with Glen, and hadn't been paying attention to the conversation between Alger and Vivian.
Alger was taken aback. "We were just talking about the copper mirror. What's wrong with you?"
"Mr. Marshman shared some very important news with me—something that makes me so happy, I can't describe it! Manfred, I'm just overjoyed."
The more she spoke, the redder her eyes grew. Tears began streaming down her face uncontrollably.
Manfred had never seen Vivian cry before. The sight was a vice around his heart. He rushed to her side. "Don't cry. Tell me what's wrong."
Even Alger panicked at the sight of her tears. He scratched his head nervously. "Did I say something wrong?"
Vivian reassured him while hastily wiping her tears. "No, you didn't say anything wrong. I'm just… I'm just so happy."
Vivian caught sight of her bracelet out of the corner of her eye. She remembered that a tear had fallen on it while she had been crying. Now, the bracelet looked more vibrant, and the colors were more vivid and alive.
She had suspected this might happen, that one day, others would see her too. But she hadn't expected that what it needed was her tears.
"Ms. Martin, your bracelet…" Alger's voice broke through her thoughts as his eyes settled on her wrist.
Glen followed Alger's gaze and squinted. "That bracelet…"
Vivian smiled faintly and explained, "Manfred gave it to me. Actually, in my time, I had a bracelet just like this. But when I arrived here, Manfred gave me another one."
Glen exclaimed in amazement, "No wonder it looked so familiar. That bracelet originally belonged to Manfred's grandmother—it was part of her wedding gift. Later, it became his mother's. It's no coincidence—it's fate that brought you here."
Just yesterday, Alger had shared his belief that Vivian's presence in Manfred's life was due to a destined connection. Glen had been skeptical, but now he fully believed it.

Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
