Skylar said, "As long as we find that copper mirror, we should be able to return without a hitch."
Joe responded, "We will find it."
It was just a few simple words, but they made Vivian's eyes well up with tears. She began searching the crowd.
They sounded so close. It was as if they were right beside her.
Her parents were alive.
They were alive, and they were here.
Tears glistened in Vivian's eyes as she anxiously pushed her way through the crowd, but she couldn't find her parents anywhere.
"Dad, Mom…"
She suddenly realized something was wrong. The people around her couldn't see her. She could even walk right through them.
She had come here because of that tree. That tree had brought her parents here, and it was through that tree that she had heard their conversation.
What she could confirm now was that her parents were still alive, and they were searching for a way to return home.
As soon as this thought crossed her mind, another burst of white light flashed before her.
It was bright and blinding.
When she opened her eyes again, she found herself back in front of the tree. However, it was now dusk.
She glanced at her watch. It was already 6:00 pm.
Harvey's face was still pale. "You scared us to death. Do you know that?"
Paul signaled to the staff behind him, murmuring something. A few staff members then headed down the mountain.
Vivian looked at the three people in front of her. Once everyone else had left and gone down the mountain, she immediately hugged Steven and sobbed, saying, "I saw Dad and Mom! I saw them! They're alive, they're really alive."
Upon hearing this, all three of them froze, their faces filled with disbelief as they looked at Vivian. But soon, their expressions softened.
Steven gently comforted her. "Don't be afraid. I'm here. Let's head down the mountain, okay? Once we're down, you can tell us everything that happened."
Vivian was still shaken, but with her family around her, her emotions started to calm down. Since they were still on the mountain, she knew it wasn't the right time to talk.
It wasn't until they were back in the car, heading down the mountain, that Vivian finally shared everything she had experienced.

Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
