Harvey arrived at the restaurant first. After getting there, he ordered dishes according to Skylar's preferences.

While waiting, he quickly replied to some messages in his work group chat. As he watched a particular video, his expression grew increasingly grim.

When Skylar arrived, the first thing she noticed was Harvey's furrowed brow. She asked, "Did something happen?"

Harvey didn't evade the question. "Actually, yes."

"Let's eat and talk about it," Skylar suggested as the waiter began serving their food.

Halfway through the meal, Harvey explained the situation.

"Ruth has started working as a print model. She's planning to enter the entertainment industry. She's been sleeping with several high-profile businessmen and claiming to be Charles' sister.

"Some variety TV shows have approached her to join their programs. A friend on one of the production teams told me about it. Charles doesn't know anything yet, but the show is in its planning stages. If he finds out, he'll be disgusted."

The video Harvey had seen showed Ruth posing provocatively in a bikini during a photo shoot, surrounded by photographers capturing every angle. It was clear what kind of image she was trying to project.

Skylar's smile faded as soon as she heard Ruth's name.

"I want to put an end to this," Harvey said firmly. "I'll gather evidence and expose her, along with that man she's involved with. Don't worry—I won't do anything illegal. I'll make everything public so Ruth and her family can't threaten us anymore. I even recorded the conversation from the last time Finn asked me for money."

Harvey shared his plan with Skylar.

Harvey couldn't bear to remain passive. While Ruth's actions might not directly harm them, they felt like a venomous snake coiled too close for comfort. It made him feel uneasy.

"Well," Freddie began, "a variety show reached out, inviting you to participate. They mentioned your sister would be part of the show too, so I wanted to check. Isn't she usually busy? Does she have time for something like this?"

Charles, still tired from filming, immediately perked up at the mention of Skylar. "Skylar? She's joining a variety show? That's news to me."

Even though Skylar had been less busy in the last couple of years, she wasn't the type to agree to such things. She would have told him if she had signed up for a variety show.

"I'm not sure either," Freddie said, frowning. "They said it's a lifestyle show about family life. If your sister agreed, it feels... unusual."

Freddie had worked with Charles long enough to know Skylar's background. Her husband, Joe, was a big name in the industry, and Skylar herself had no reason to join a variety show.

These kinds of programs were usually filled with people seeking fame or money, neither of which applied to Skylar. Yet, the producers insisted she had already signed a contract.
