Bound To My Mafia Stepuncles novel Chapter 90

POV: Aria

The morning sun slipped through the white curtains, soft and warm against my skin. I stretched slowly, still feeling light and floaty from last night. Matteo’s kiss lingered on my lips, and the way his hands had held me like I was something preciousit stayed with me like a warm memory I didn’t want to forget.

But it wasn’t just him.

Every time I closed my eyes, I saw all of them. Enzo with his quiet strength. Dante with his intense eyes that seemed to see too much. Matteo with his teasing smile. My chest felt heavy and full at the same time. It was confusing. Strange. But also comforting.

I slipped out of bed and padded across the soft rug, picking up

of the oversized sweaters from my chair. It was Enzo’s, I think. It smelled like cedar and something warmmaybe his cologne. I wore it anyway. It reached past my thighs and made me feel like I was wrapped in them even when I wasn’t.

Downstairs, the house felt alive. The smell of eggs and toast filled the air. The ranch house was quiet but full of space and light. Wooden beams lined the ceiling, and big glass windows let in the wide sky and endless fields beyond.

I walked into the kitchen and stopped.

They were all there.

Enzo leaned against the counter, sipping coffee from a black mug. He wore a navy shirt tucked into tailored slacks, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows. His hair was still damp from a shower. Dante sat at the table in black jeans and a fitted grey shirt, his dark hair tousled like he’d run his hands through it too many times. Matteo was barefoot, in joggers and a plain white tee, flipping something in the frying pan.

All three of them turned to look at me. And for a second, I couldn’t breathe.

Matteo grinned first. Morning, sweetheart.

Dante’s lips curved slightly, slow and knowing. You sleep well?

Enzo’s eyes softened as he looked me over. You’re wearing my sweater.

I nodded, suddenly shy, like they could see right through me. It’s warm.

He didn’t say anything else, just walked forward and pulled out a chair. Sit. Eat.

I sat down, trying to stop my cheeks from turning pink. Matteo placed a plate of eggs and toast in front of me and kissed the top of my head. I looked up at him, and he winked. My heart did a flip.

You didn’t tire her out too much, did you?Dante asked Matteo with a smirk.

Matteo rolled his eyes. She kept up just fine.

I threw a piece of toast at him, laughing.,

They laughed toodeep, warm sounds that filled the kitchen. I didn’t realize I was smiling so wide until Enzo sat beside me and leaned in close.

You look beautiful when you laugh,he said softly.

My heart stuttered. I looked down at my plate, hoping they didn’t see the way my hands trembled slightly. Not from fear. From feeling too

much.

Chapter 90

After breakfast, Dante helped me carry some paints to the little sunroom at the back of the house. I wasn’t a real painter or anything I just liked messing around with colors when my head felt too full. The light in the room was perfect, falling in golden lines on the wooden floor.

Dante handed me the brushes carefully, his fingers brushing mine on purpose, I think. His eyes held mine for a moment.

You don’t have to be good at it,he said. You just have to enjoy it.

I swallowed hard and nodded. I do.

He reached out and tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear. Good.

Before he left, he leaned in and kissed my forehead. Not rushed. Not gentle either. Just sure. Like it was his place.

Later, I found Enzo in the garden, near the white fence that overlooked the hills. He had a book in one hand and sunglasses on, but when 1 walked up, he looked over the top of them.

You alright?he asked.

I nodded, unsure what to say.

He pulled me into his side without warning, his arm strong and warm around me, You’re quiet today.

I rested my head on his shoulder. Just thinking.

About?

You guys,I whispered.

He smiled slightly. Good. Because we think about you too.

His hand came up to stroke my hair, slow and soft, and I felt the sting of tears behind my eyes. But not sad tears. Just full ones.

I found Matteo last, sitting by the fountain in the courtyard with a glass of iced tea. His feet were bare, and he looked up with that boyish grin that always melted me.

Come here,he said, patting the space beside him.

I sat, and he took my hand without asking. His fingers were rough, warm, calloused. I liked how real he felt. Solid.

You doing okay, baby?

I nodded. Yeah.

He turned to me, his face suddenly serious. You ever feel like it’s too much, just tell us. We’ll slow down.

I didn’t answer with words. I just leaned my head on his shoulder.

He kissed the top of it, then rested his cheek there.

You’re too easy to fall for,he whispered.

The sun was low now. Gold light spilled across the ranch, touching everything with warmth.

When it was time for them to go, they found me in the hallway. All three.

Enzo kissed my knuckles. Dante touched my cheek. Matteo held my waist for a second longer than needed.
