Chapter 627 Magnanimous
When Colin finished speaking, Faye raised her eyebrows and looked at him.
Colin chuckled, put his hand on the back of her neck, and pinched it gently. "You are always indifferent to the attentions of other men."
Faye said with her red lips, "I'm not interested."
After the meal, Colin and Faye came out of the box and went to the front desk to pay the bill as usual.
The front desk clerk smiled at Colin, "Mr. Farrell, Mr. Waylon said we can't charge you."
Colin, "Huh?"
The clerk looked embarrassed, "Mr. Farrell, please don't make this hard for me. Take care."
Colin stood still and retracted his slender fingertips holding the bank card. "Where's Matthew?"
The front desk clerk said, "Mr. Waylon is out."
Colin said with a faint smile, "Except he didn't let me pay, what else did he say?"
Colin and Matthew had been friends for a long time, so Colin was familiar with him. Matthew couldn’t have just left him with such a message that allowed him to leave without paying the bill.
After Colin asked, the front desk clerk looked at him awkwardly and said, "Mr. Waylon said that he would not let you pay the bill, so you would feel guilty."
Colin was speechless.
It was true that Colin didn't like to owe others a favor.
He felt a little bit awkward that Matthew didn't let him pay the bill.
Matthew knew Colin's character, and because he was displeased, he wanted him unhappy too.
Hearing what the front desk clerk said, Colin took back the card. "Well, tell Mr. Waylon that I will never pay the bill whenever I go to his restaurants and teahouses."
After Colin finished speaking, he smiled at the front desk clerk and turned to take Faye to leave.
After Colin left, the front desk clerk took out her phone and called Matthew.
The clerk relayed Colin's message to Matthew verbatim.
Matthew derided over the phone, "That's a cheap shot!"
The front desk clerk chuckled awkwardly and didn't dare to comment.
On the other side, Colin and Faye drove back to the company.
As soon as the car entered the underground parking, Robert called.
Colin answered, "What's wrong?"
Faye turned back and said, "Lunch break is over."
Colin's thin lips raised,"You can't find a husband more magnanimous than me. So, are there any awards for me?"
Faye’s mouth slightly raised. She stepped back in the car. Then, she pulled Colin's tie and kissed the corner of his lips.
Faye kissed softly. Colin held the back of her head with one hand to kiss her more deeply and then said with a smile, "I feel much better now."
Faye smiled gently. She saw through Colin's mind but didn't say anything.
Originally, Colin was ready to get off the car with Faye, but as soon as he stretched out to push the door, the phone on the central control rang.
After seeing Robert's call reminder, Colin picked up the phone and answered, "Robert."
Robert lowered his voice and said, "Mr. Farrell, are you free to talk now?"
Colin said with a wider smile as he raised his eyes to Faye, "Darling, you can go first, I have to answer the phone."
Faye was stunned slightly and smiled, "Okay."
After Faye responded, she got off the car and left.
Colin looked at Faye's leaving back and leaned back in his seat. His voice went cold. "What's wrong?"
Robert, "Something's come up with Alexander. Brandon set him up and the company was shut down immediately."
