My Fair Stunner novel (Faye and Colin) novel Chapter 529

Chapter 529 Brave and Astute

Faye had never expected that Brandon's disfigurement had something to do with Daisy.

She suddenly thought of Maxwell's words. "If it weren't me, you would have been killed by Old Mr. Farrell."

She had never taken Maxwell's words seriously, but now she realized that probably he was telling the truth.

Realizing that Faye was pondering about something after saying those words, Martha walked up to her, sat down beside her, and said, "I'm not clear about the detailed situation. But I know that Old Mr. Farrell instigated your mom to set that fire. As for why she would do that as instructed by him, I have no idea.

However, Faye knew what drove Daisy to do that.

Daisy was made use of by Old Mr. Farrell and Shepard should be the one to be blamed.

Faye tilted her head to look at Martha and asked, "Why do you tell me about these things?"

Martha replied, "Just think that I still have some conscience."

Faye said, "I'll appreciate it, but I won't put in good words for you before Colin."

Martha suddenly chuckled when hearing Faye's words and said, "Girl, why are you so special? Generally speaking, when a girl encounters such a situation, shouldn't she try to eliminate the conflicts between the mother and the son as possible as she could to win the appreciation of her mother-in-law? "

Faye, "I don't need a good reputation. It's useless."

Martha was rendered speechless.

Faye continued in a calm voice, "If you truly love a person and sincerely want him to lead a happy life, you should treat her in a way that he would feel comfortable and happy the most, but not a way that only you yourself think is good to him."

Martha pressed her lips and said, "Colin has gotten his Ms. Right."

Faye didn't admit it, nor did she deny it.

Martha stood up, walked over to the bedside table, picked up her cell phone, and booked a ticket in the face of Faye, saying, "I'll set off at 3 p.m...."

Martha suddenly paused. She smiled embarrassedly and continued, "Forget it, I won't tell you where I will go. Anyway, you don't have to worry about it. I won't come back anymore."

Faye said, "Let Andy send you to the airport later."

Martha replied, "I can hail a taxi there."

When Martha finished speaking, Faye got up and said coldly, "I'll give you half an hour to pack up your luggage. Andy will wait for you downstairs."

Martha was dumbfounded when she heard Faye's words. She frowned and asked, "Are you still distrusting me?"

Faye looked askance at Martha and replied, "I won't bet on humanity."

Martha was lost for words.

Faye called Andy after leaving the hotel.

The call was answered soon. Faye said calmly, "Send Martha to the airport later and watch her go through security in person."

Andy replied, "Roger, Mrs. Farrell."

Faye said, "You're welcome."

After hanging up the phone, Faye made a U-turn at the next intersection and headed in the opposite direction to the hospital.

When Faye arrived at the hospital, she found Violet was already downstairs with the support of a crutch. She was waiting for her on the steps.

Seeing this, Faye hurriedly got out of the car and walked up to help her. She asked, "Your injury hasn't healed yet, why did you come downstairs by yourself?"

Violet smiled at her and replied, "I want to save time."

Faye asked, "Where are we going next?"

A hint of shrewdness flashed across Violet's eyes as she answered, "Go to the Theatre of Alogow District."

Faye had always been gentle at usual times, and this was the first time that Faye saw such an aspect of her. Amused, she replied, "Okay."

Faye helped Violet to sit in the passenger's seat. After fastening her seat belt, Violet took out a USB flash drive from her pocket and handed it to Faye, saying, "Faye, after we arrive at the Theatre of Alogow District, please go to the backstage area and give this USB flash drive to a guy named Saylor Brooke."

Faye took the USB flash drive and agreed, "Okay."

Violet continued, "The woman who caused the injury on my foot will take part in the final competition today."

Faye immediately understood and raised her eyebrows. She was impressed by Violet again.

She was gentle yet not cowardly. Moreover, she was very wise and could avenge herself when she was completely at a disadvantage, which was really rare.
