Chapter 6
Damien and Ryan were both busy preparing for the mating ceremony.
Meanwhile, I was busy packing my bags to leave and secretly transferring all the money from my bank account.
The next moment, my phone buzzed, and a deposit had just arrived in my bank account.
Still two transfers, one from each of them.
That afternoon, Ryan took me to try on wedding dresses.
He looked at my belly and said, “Baby, have you gained weight recently? Your stomach looks kind of round.”
I turned around and said, “I’ve gained ten pounds.”
He smiled, “A little extra is better. It feels nicer to touch…”
He lifted my hand and slid a ring onto my ring finger.
A diamond as big as a rock sparkled on it.
He wrapped his arms around me. “It’s perfect, you’re almost mine.”
I didn’t know what to say while he held me, I just softly murmured, silently calculating how much that ring might fetch if I
sold it.
Only two days remained before I escaped from the Silvermoon Pack, and I sneaked off to a bar.
Back when I was poor and desperate, I never even touched alcohol.
Even after becoming Damien’s secret lover, I stayed professional and never hit the bar.
This was my first time in a bar.
The first thing I did was order a few male models to keep me company.
I wanted to know what it felt like to casually pick a man for fun.
Looking at their broad shoulders, seductive abs, and flattering gazes, I nodded in approval.
Just then, we suddenly heard a loud commotion.
Ella was sitting at the bar not far away.
She was wasted, shouting, “After humiliating her at the mating ceremony, just kick her out. I’m so sick of seeing her hanging around the two of you all the time.”
For the first time, Damien didn’t rush to do as she asked.
He was silent for a moment before saying slowly instead, “We’ll talk about this later.”
Ella was stunned for a second and looked at Ryan.

“Ryan, what do you think?”
Ryan locked away.
“She still likes me so much… no, I mean she likes Damien. If we just let her go, I’m afraid she can’t accept it.”
Ella’s expression darkened with displeasure.
“You’re not going soft on her, are you?”
“You two promised me you’d help pull off this prank back then!”
“Am I still your most important friend? Because I’m telling you, right now, I really hate her.”
Their drinking buddies chimed in to back her up.
“Of course! Ella cares about you both way too much. Who the hell is Tessa? She’s just a toy to be played with and thrown away when you get bored.”
“Can you really stand to make Ella sad?”
If she really clings on, Damien might as well reward her with breakup sex. After all, you haven’t slept with her for years.
Make it one last time for her sake.”
After a long pause, I heard Damien say quietly, “Yeah, I know.”
In that instant, my heart skipped a beat.
I threw the cash at the male models and smiled, then got up and left.
On the day of the mating ceremony, Damien wore a perfectly tailored black suit, looking extraordinarily handsome.
While Ryan wore a white tuxedo as the best man.
Aside from the color of their suits, no one could tell them apart.
Ella wore a bridesmaid dress she’d custom made herself, as glamorous as an evening gown, more dazzling than my private wedding dress.
She looked like a little princess.
She held a video camera, ready to film my breakdown and despair as a trophy at any moment.
All of her prank victims were filmed and kept it herself as the trophy.
She possibly wanted everyone to see my breakdown the moment I realized I’d been toyed with for an entire year by two men who’d taken turns using me like a game.
