After so many days of observation, Angelica was finally convinced—Selina was truly dead.
Most of the staff at Sapphire Valley Villa had been dismissed, and Miller Butler now only delivered meals for one. The entire villa was shrouded in a heavy, sorrowful atmosphere.
Angelica could barely contain her excitement. Her face flushed red from holding back laughter—finally!
"Dad, I think Logan has accepted reality. Let’s go talk to him."
Joe nodded. "Angelica, once you marry Logan, it’ll be a wish fulfilled. I can finally give your mother an answer."
What Joe couldn’t understand was why Kyle seemed so lost lately. Selina was dead—so what? It wasn’t that big of a deal.
"Angelica, call Logan. Let’s go to the Reid Family and talk things through."
Angelica wiped away imaginary tears. "Alright. I’ll also make Selina’s will public, just like she wanted. I never imagined she cared about me that much..."
Joe, unaware the will was fabricated by Angelica, sighed.
"Don’t overthink it. Her death was her own doing. You’re not to blame. But the fact she came to her senses at the end... well, that’s something."
...
Meanwhile...
Logan was visiting the Reid Family, while Selina was at home scrolling through Twitter—only to stumble upon her own will.
Honestly, stumbling across your own will online? That’s a first.
Curious, Selina clicked the link to see what kind of "ending" Angelica had crafted for her.
A photo of a handwritten will appeared. Selina raised an eyebrow—it really did look like her handwriting. Angelica had clearly put some effort into this.
The entire document was filled with fake inner monologues. Written from "Selina’s" perspective, it twisted all the injustices she’d suffered at the Clark Family into "playful moments between sisters."
And at the end, "Selina" supposedly wrote:
"I want to leave 80% of my assets to Angelica, including my studio and my mother’s inheritance. I believe she’s the best person to take care of them."
"Logan, after I’m gone, please take good care of Angelica for me—as compensation for the harm I caused her. I know she’s always loved you. If you can’t find anyone else, marry her. I can’t bear to see Angelica suffer alone, nor can I bear to see you grow old in solitude."
Selina: "...?"
Wait, what? Is this for real? Could it get more ridiculous?
She checked the comments.
"I think I misunderstood Selina before. She wasn’t against Angelica. She just didn’t know how to express her love for her sister."
Selina: "...I underestimated how insane this could get."
"Selina didn’t expect an accident during her trip, so this will was her final heartfelt words. We should honor her wishes."
"This sisterly love is so touching. Everyone who used to bash Angelica, take a look—if they didn’t hold a grudge, why should you feel the need to speak up for Selina?"
"I really hope Mr. Reid marries Angelica. She loves him, and it was his late wife’s dying wish..."
Angelica herself had been giving multiple interviews, always bursting into tears in front of the camera, promising to manage Selina’s business and look after Logan—hoping Selina could rest in peace.
The "will" trended repeatedly, and even voices of doubt were drowned out by Angelica’s fans.
Those same fans who had viciously attacked Selina days ago were now gushing about the "beautiful bond between sisters." Their hypocrisy was so fast it made even Selina speechless.
She suddenly became curious—when she made her "miraculous return," what kinds of faces would these people make?
Reid Family Residence.
