His Innocent Sera novel Chapter 64

She stared blankly at the screen as her thoughts drifted elsewhere. She was supposed to get her period four days back, but it hadn't arrived yet. Ever since he brought her here, he has been having sex with her every day. And now worry had started gnawing at her inside. So much she had lost in just a month: her innocence, her dreams, her freedom, and her family. Her family, which wasn't truly hers to begin with. Honestly, she still hadn't come to terms with it. The revelation had completely shattered her. While she had been grinding day and night for a shred of approval from her mom and dad, they had seen her as nothing more than a burden. She wondered where her real mother was. If she was even alive? Why did she abandon her? And her father. It was vile, revolting: her uncle was her father. The mere thought was enough to make her stomach churn in disgust.

"Get ready in fifteen. We are going out," Nate announced, drawing her out of her trance. She turned her head and spotted him at the doorway. He was home. The girl's brows furrowed in confusion.

"Where?" she questioned as he strolled in, carrying a bag.

"Somewhere," he replied mysteriously, placing the bag on the bed.

"Wear it tonight," he nodded towards the bag, clearly in a good mood. Sera eyed the bag with uncertainty.

As Nate disappeared into the bathroom to wash grime and dirt off his skin, she pushed to her feet and padded towards the bag. She opened it and found a light green gown inside it. Fetching the dress, she held it up to examine. The halter neck was adorned with sparkly stones while a delicate shimmer ran through the gown. It was clearly meant for high-class women.

A pair of arms slipped around her waist, pulling her against a solid, wet chest.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" he murmured in her ear, purposefully pressing his soaked body against hers. She squirmed, feeling her back getting drenched, but he didn't let up.

"Leave. You're making me wet," she said, her tone carrying a hint of irritation.

"Am I?" he asked huskily, just before his hand began to trail lower," I need to confirm myself." The unmistakable intent in his velvety voice sent a shiver down her spine. But before he could reach her intimate part, she caught his hand.

"I didn't mean that," she clarified, stepping out of his hold. His eyes followed her, burning embers, set on devouring her. She looked away, a blush covered her cheeks. She wasn't used to being looked at like this. It felt as though he was stripping her bare with his eyes. She hastily picked up the dress and headed into the bathroom, only to escape him.
