Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1836

Scott exited the express lane at Jamborough International Airport.

After watching Shannon burning down a clan's sacred hall on the show, he thought it was necessary to show his concern as her closest cousin, despite knowing she was fine.

More importantly, after he visited the Zaprath School, he realized she had many underlings and feared to be replaced.

He secretly sneaked away without informing his family—no private jet, just a first-class ticket he paid for himself.

Scott arrived and contacted Shannon's assistant, Maeve, to arrange for a car. As he was about to head out of the terminal to meet her, he heard a low exclamation from beside him.

Turning around, he saw a woman who had been bumped by the luggage of a green-haired foreign man. The man, probably in his 20s, was dressed in high-end brand clothes, and his attitude was arrogant.

When his luggage collided with the woman, he glanced at her casually, then continued walking without a care.

The woman, clearly upset, wanted to argue, but her companion stopped her, advising her to avoid unnecessary trouble. The green-haired man seemed to know that Criseans rarely picked fights with foreigners, so he didn't pay them any mind.

Scott frowned at the scene but didn't intervene. He shrugged off the incident, dismissing it as a minor inconvenience. Little did he know, he would run into the green-haired guy again a few hours later.

After Maeve picked him up, he was supposed to tell her to send him to the Demon District but thought of something on the way, thus instructing her to turn to another district.

"This store makes the best fruitcake! I bet Shannon doesn't know about this place. I'll buy her some for her to try."

He then instructed Maeve, "Shannon must've been too busy to be a tourist around here. You should buy her good food more often. Didn't you notice how skinny she looked on screen now?"

The green-haired man assumed they couldn't understand Eldorian, as many Criseans didn't speak it, and even if they did, they usually wouldn't respond.

However, to his surprise, Scott coldly retorted in fluent Eldorian, "If the phone's broken, I'll pay for it. But you'd better keep your mouth shut and let go of that kid."

With that, he forcefully swatted the green-haired man's hand, making him release the boy.

As he pulled the boy over, Scott noticed the unusual look on the boy's face. However, his brief moment of surprise quickly faded, replaced by intense anger directed at the foreigner in front of him.

Seeing that Scott dared to lay a hand on him, the green-haired man immediately fumed with rage.

"How dare you lay a hand on me! Try me, and I'll go to the embassy and report you Criseans for assaulting a foreigner!"
