Naturally, Elena disagreed with them. Watching Fiona deliver one hit after another on Teddy's head, she furiously screamed, "Fiona, are you trying to kill him?"
Oddly enough, Fiona seemed calmer now than she had before attacking him. As she struck the transformed bear cub, she emotionlessly said, "Don't worry. Young demons have the thickest skin. This won't kill him."
She added, "Didn't you tell me to look out for him at school? That's what I'm doing now—teaching him what he should or shouldn't do to offend someone."
At first, Elena yelled and scolded her, but as she saw Teddy's face swollen, she began to plead desperately, trying to reason with Fiona.
However, Teddy's response was the opposite. Initially, he wasn't willing to back down as he was being hit, but as the strikes continued, he started to tremble and beg for mercy.
Seeing Fiona show no signs of stopping, the rebellious demon blood within him flared up. He began scratching, kicking, and struggling to fight back, desperate to resist.
Fiona had been holding back, but when she was scratched by his claw, blood instantly welled up from her arm. Drops of blood fell onto the scattered broken card pieces on the floor, and the sight of it rekindled the fire in her eyes, turning her gaze a deep crimson once again.
Black supernatural energy slowly emanated from the wound, intertwining with her previously pure white energy. A red gleam flashed in her eyes, and her gaze turned savage and vengeful as she fixed her glare upon the youngling before her.
"You're dead…"
In an instant, her hand shot out, gripping Teddy's neck and lifting it off the ground. Her other hand transformed into a massive bear claw, the sharp claws extending as she made a deadly motion toward his face, ready to strike.
If whatever transpired earlier was considered just a harsh scolding, now, it felt like a real threat.
Feeling Fiona's intense anger and the deadly aura surrounding her, Teddy froze in fear. Ava and Horace, who had been holding back Elena, suddenly grew tense, their expressions darkening.
It would be one thing if a youngling were simply being punished for its mischief, but if Fiona actually hurt one of her own kind, especially a young member of the clan… the consequences would be severe!
Her bear-like paw rose again, ready to strike Teddy with another forceful swipe.
As they watched the paw going for its target, a clear female voice sounded at that moment. "O' heaven and earth, come in control; spirits and all, and none shall flee…"
Everyone in the room froze for a moment, only to hear a soft, clear voice that seemed to resonate from the very void around them, accompanied by the final command. "Bind!"
As the word fell, a mystic chain shot out from the air, striking straight toward Fiona. In the blink of an eye, it wrapped around her from head to toe, binding her tightly.
At the same time, the air before them seemed to tear open, creating a rift in space.
Benjamin, with a swift motion, pulled Shannon close, and she formed a mudra with both hands. Together, they emerged from the rift, appearing at the scene in the blink of an eye…
