Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1503

Everyone watched as the system grabbed the tortoise sticker with one limb.

A faint black smoke seeped from its body, though it was obvious that it had very little left. It struggled for some time before finally managing to completely envelop the sticker.

Once Shannon confirmed it was stable, she carefully pressed the sticker onto Sylvia's hand.

Sylvia was initially puzzled, but soon, a sudden mechanical voice echoed in her mind. "Sylvia, my Via, don't be afraid. I'm here with you."

The tone was cold and robotic. Though it might sound emotionless, Sylvia instantly realized these were Isolde's words being relayed to her.

Wait… She heard something!

Her hands trembled slightly. This was the first time she'd heard any sound since losing her senses!

Skylar glanced at the odd-looking green tortoise sticker and instinctively turned to Shannon. "What is that?"

"It's like a system sticker. I'm using it to transmit external sounds into Sylvia's mind." It was just like how she usually communicated with the system.

This was the result of her and the system's research from the previous night.

After returning home the night before, she'd been thinking if there was a way to restore Sylvia's communication with the outside world.

Writing was an option, but it was tedious and slow.

Then, she was reminded of the way she and the system communicated. Thanks to the copper ring, she could hear the system's voice directly in her mind though the system wasn't bound to her.

She wondered if they could replicate that structure and create a subsystem connecting Sylvia to the outside world, but the system refused the idea outright.

Zane observed the system sticker and fell into deep thought.

Shannon had planned to give Sylvia and Isolde some alone time to talk and decided to ask about everything that had happened later.

But Sylvia tugged at Isolde's sleeve. Her silent expression was clear.

"Ms. Jensen, she wants to speak to you," Isolde explained.

Sylvia wasn't formally trained as a mystic master, but she'd spent four years by Isolde's side and had gradually awakened her spiritual energy. Though she was deeply traumatized by her ordeal, she could sense these people truly wanted and were capable of helping her.

She reached for a notebook beside her, the one they'd prepared for her in advance.

With slow shaky strokes, she wrote down a single line word by word. "I know the real reason they took my face."
