Alex was utterly baffled. "W-What!" Her legs wobbled, and he almost fell.

Hank was equally shocked. "Wasn't it pseudocyesis?" Why was Shannon saying that Alex was about to give birth?

Shannon's expression remained calm as she asked in return, "I'd like to know that too. What have you been doing lately to attract something like this?"
