As the plane landed in Seastone, Benjamin glanced at Shannon, who was dozing off with her head tilted to the side.

He didn't say anything and instead raised his hand to signal to the flight attendants as they approached.

They'd traveled on Benjamin's private jet, and the cabin crew were personally hired staff who dutifully followed their employers' wishes. They stood quietly aside.

The plane remained on the runway and patiently waited, but Shannon soon stirred and opened her eyes.

The house seemed grander than the residence of their clan leader.

It was the weekend. After hearing that Shannon was coming home, Adam and the Jensens stayed home to welcome her.
