Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1142

The panda, as a symbol of an endangered species, was not only a globally loved icon but also a cherished creature across the Internet. One wouldn't dare to lay a finger on something so rare and revered—demon or not.

It was simply impossible to fight.

If one accidentally harmed it, the authorities would be the least of their worries. Instead, they'd likely wake up in the middle of the night, plagued by guilt, and end up slapping themselves in regret.

Naturally, Steen was aware of the societal significance of his true form. Once he transformed, he plopped down on the ground without a care in the world. He even cheekily scratched his behind, completely unabashed.

Looking at the big, fluffy, cute animal, Lexie appeared conflicted; Elliot was the same. "S-Shannon…"

Shannon quickly regained her composure. When hearing Elliot's voice, she turned to him, and as if enlightened, asked, "You knew?"

He nodded hesitantly. As fellow supernatural entities, they were naturally more attuned to sensing each other's true forms.

After a brief moment of thought, he cautiously approached and whispered in Shannon's ear, telling her about the origins of the demons on the opposite side.

Once he finished, he quickly stepped back, unable to shake off the overwhelming pressure they radiated.

The one that particularly unnerved him was Cornelius, who was even more intimidating than Kai.

After listening to Elliot's words, Shannon fell into deep thought. After a while, she pinched her thunder talisman and said, "I'm fine with pandas too."

Immediately, Mike dashed forward and stopped her, advising, "No way, Shannon. You really, really, can't!"

The surveillance talisman was broadcasting the whole thing! If she was caught striking a panda with lightning, she would be in deep trouble!

"Are you sure you're going to hit me?" Steen, originally sitting on the ground, shot up with a fierce expression and taunted, "The endangered species loved and cherished across the nation?"

Shannon gave him a casual glance, completely unmoved by its true form. She simply retracted the thunder talisman in her hand.

"Don't worry. I'll use a different approach," she said, locking eyes with the panda. "Though you might need to bear with me for a bit."

The giant panda, with its round, shiny eyes, blinked in confusion, clearly not understanding what she meant.

Shannon took a step back and suddenly reached into her pouch, pulling out another talisman. It was a green one, clearly different from the usual talismans she used.

Everyone at the scene, including the audience outside, instinctively glanced at the talisman in her hand. Their expressions were filled with confusion.
