Alyssa shook her head, “Jared will never forgive me, he just won’t.” 

“He’s practically your own. Whether he’s your brother or son, deep down he’s looking at you like his mother. Give him some time, he’ll come around” Alyssa cried for a while, then fell asleep. 

Tim watched her for a long time from the side of the bed. 

In his mind, his precious daughter was still the little girl who would jump into his arms for candy when he came home from work. 

Alyssa was his world.

Tim left Alyssa’s room,

Tim glanced at him and said, “Come with me, I’ve got something to say to you.” 

Jared followed his father to the study.

Tim knew him.
