Olivia raised her eyebrows a bit and said, "Wow, you're really committed. If I'm not mistaken, it's been, what, seven years?"

"Yeah." Carolyn glanced down, her voice soft.

Olivia let out a silent sigh.

"But..." Olivia cracked a smile, "Joshua still has a thing for Allie. I think they might patch things up."

Carolyn's smile faded, "What makes you say that?"

"Their breakup wasn't what it seemed," Olivia explained. "It wasn't because they fell out of love or got bored. The Fisher family's illegitimate son, Chris, knew Allie was Joshua's weak spot. He kidnapped her and came close to killing her several times. Allie even got shot by Chris's men recently and she's still recovering in the hospital."

Carolyn was taken aback, "I can't believe that actually happened!"

"Yeah..." Olivia sighed, "But thankfully, Chris has been dealt with by the law now."

Carolyn frowned, deep in thought, her expression serious.
