A nearby nurse shot her a disapproving look. "Miss, please keep your voice down. This is a hospital."

Kate's face flushed with a mix of anger and embarrassment. She stormed into the hospital room, shoving the door open. "Shawn! What the hell is this about?"

Colt smirked, eyes twinkling with curiosity as he peeked into the room.

"Get out! Just get out!" Shawn's voice was filled with rage and shame as he yelled.

The sound of things being thrown and smashed echoed from the room.

With tears in her eyes, Kate mocked him, "You're so pathetic, Shawn." Then, she turned and left.

As Kate opened the door, she found herself face to face with Colt, who was hanging around outside. Colt awkwardly rubbed his nose. "Uh, I forgot something inside. Just came back to grab it."
