I laughed coldly inside, looking at the anger in his eyes without any fear.

“Didn’t you say you only believe in evidence? So what are you questioning me based on now?

He was stunned for a moment, the fury in his eyes forced back into his chest by those words.

But I had no intention of stopping there.

I said softly: You can tolerate Ashley slandering me in front of everyone, but you can’t accept another wolf’s scent on me?

“Ferris, do you really care about me, or do you care about your pride?

He remained motionless, breathing heavily, complex emotions churning in his eyespain, anger… but he couldn’t say another word.
