She sincerely suggested, “How about you let me off now, and I’ll give you two some space.”
Roschelle’s eyes lit up right away.
But then Kieran’s face suddenly darkened, and his tone turned cold: “Don’t even think about it.”
Roschelle’s face froze, then she quickly said, “Alarieka, don’t be mad at Kier. This isn’t something to take lightly. You really should get your body checked.”
Alarieka looked away, just acted like she didn’t see or hear anything.
Kieran closed his eyes too.
Only Roschelle kept up a polite, gentle smile, even though her hands almost tore the fabric on her lap.
She was a bit scared.
Everyone was saying Kieran only cared about her, only loved her.
Everyone was saying Kieran didn’t like Alarieka, even hated Alarieka.
She believed it.
But looking at it now, it was totally different.
Kieran didn’t really not care about Alarieka like people said.
And actually, it was just the opposite–Kieran definitely cared about Alarieka.

She just found out from the assistant that it was Kieran who made Antoine leave.

The one thing she didn’t know, and also cared about the most, was this.
How much did Alaricka really mean to Kieran.
Roschelle was just afraid that Alaricka meant a lot to Kieran.
She was lost in her thoughts when her stomach churned, and a wave of nausea rose from her gut to her throat, almost making her throw up.
Roschelle couldn’t help it, covered her mouth with one hand, held her stomach with the other, bent over a little, and gagged a few times.
It was way too quiet in the carriage, and Roschelle’s retching was really obvious.
Alarieka and the assistant’s expressions obviously changed.
Alarieka immediately looked over through the rearview mirror.
Roschelle covered her mouth, looked scared, her eyes red and pitiful as she looked at Kieran.
“Kier.”
Kieran’s brows moved a little, his eyes looked serioùs and sharp, and his thin lips pressed together. He didn’t lean back in the seat carelessly anymore. He sat up straight, with his hands clasped.
His dark eyes stared into Roschelle’s, his voice low: “Pregnant?”
A blush showed up on Roschelle’s cheeks, and there was just the right mix of anxiety and shyness in her eyes.
She nodded lightly, biting her lip: “Not sure, need to go to the hospital

and check.”
Hearing that, Kieran’s eyes darkened. “How long has it been since your period?”
Roschelle shyly avoided Kieran’s gaze and said in a low voice, “It’s been two months.”
Acting like no one else was around, Kieran asked again, “So, was it that time?”
Roschelle clenched her hands, lowered her head, and nodded lightly.
Roschelle watched Kieran’s expression carefully and reached out her hand, a little hesitant: “Kier, I was a bit scared.”
Kieran looked at her for a moment.
In the end, Kieran reached out his left hand and held Roschelle’s hand in his palm.
“Don’t be afraid.”
Kieran’s voice was deep and rich, with a kind of certainty and strength. It was the kind of tone that made people believe him and sounded serious.
It seemed like he thought his tone and words weren’t enough to support Roschelle, so he added two more words.
“I was here.”
Roschelle’s cheeks turned red, and she moved closer to Kieran. Their arms got tangled together.
Roschelle lowered her head, her forehead resting against Kieran’s shoulder.

“Kier, I felt a lot more at ease with you around.”
Kieran went mm.
Alaricka’s mind went blank, and her expression, rarely, got out of control. Her brows and eyes looked serious.
Roschelle was now pregnant with pretty much the same son as before.
