Ex-Wife's Revenge (Alaricka) novel Chapter 65

Chapter65

She pulled her lips into a smile: Mom, let’s stay away from Kieran and Roschelle from now on.

Tamika’s tears fell instantly: I thought, I thought even if Kieran didn’t like you, he wouldn’t do this.

Alarieka shook her head and forced a smile: Mom, Kieran was just that kind of person.

But,she moved her fork, pretending to be relaxed, I’m really fine, it’s just some scratches, don’t worry.

As they were talking, Alarieka’s phone suddenly rang.

It was a call from Reyna.

Hey, Ms. Wright.

Reyna’s voice was hesitant and worried: Alarieka, the principal just called me and said they canceled the decision to fire me. Did you do something?

Alarieka’s eyelashes fluttered.

This was the best news I’d heard in a while.

Kieran was still kind of a decent person, he didn’t break his promise.

She said softly, Didn’t do much, just found someone.

Reyna didn’t believe/it and kept asking, You really didn’t do anything?

Alaricka grabbed the edge of the table tightly, forcing herself to smile: No, Ms. Wright, don’t worry, I was fine.

Reyna asked a few more questions, but Alaricka didn’t show even the slightest flaw, all the way until they hung up.

Alarieka put away her phone: Mom, it’s late, go to sleep.

Tamika said anxiously, “Take care of your wounds before you sleep, don’t let them get worse.

Alarieka was just about to nod when the doorbell at the entrance rang.

She grabbed the blanket around her and told Tamika to get the door.

Alarieka had her back to the door and just heard Tamika’s voice, surprised and barely hiding her anger: Mr. Argent’s assistant?

The assistant said, Mr. Argent told me to bring the medicine. These were all for Ms. Huston.

Alarieka sat on the couch and turned her head to look over.

The assistant who came this time wasn’t the one who took her to Spark Club tonight. It was another assistant who just did things by the book. His attitude toward her was soso.

The assistant handed the medicine bag to Tamika and said calmly, Take it.

Tamika was mad at Kieran and didn’t want to take anything from. 1, but she also wanted to take it because there weren’t enough medical supplies at home.

Alarieka looked away and said calmly, Mom, bring it here.

It wasn’t the time to piss Kieran off.

Kieran could crush her and Reyna with just one finger. If needed, she still had to go along with what Kieran wanted, even if every part of her resisted.

Tamika grabbed the medicine bag angrily and locked the door:

Alarieka, come on, let’s put on the medicine.

Alarieka took the medicine bag and just tossed it aside.

Tamika’s face changed: What’s wrong?

Alarieka held onto the blanket, her voice really low and soft: I didn’t want to use his stuff.

Mom, there was a trash can and a pharmacy downstairs. You went to throw these away, then went to the pharmacy to buy some medicine.

At times like this, whatever Alarieka said, went.

Tamika nodded and stood up right away, Okay, I’ll go throw out Kieran’s stuff.

Five minutes later, Tamika carried the medicine bag and, looking disgusted, tossed the bag into the stinky trash can.

Then I stopped by the pharmacy outside the neighborhood and bought a bunch of random medicine before going upstairs.

She didn’t notice at all that the assistant who just brought the medicine hadn’t left, but was hiding in the corner, seeing everything she 1.

The assistant hesitated a few times, but still called Kieran.

The call got picked up quickly.

The assistant sounded a bit hesitant: Mr. Argent, I saw Ms. Huston’s mother throw away all the medicine bags, and she went to the
