Chapter 51
“Ms. Huston, sorry, Clarissa was a bit impulsive, hope you didn’t mind her,” Roschelle gave a shy smile, “Clarissa was just thinking too much for me, that’s why she acted like that.”
Tea talk.
Why didn’t you just say Clarissa was a bit impulsive, but she was right?
Alarieka curled her lips, her eyes calm and indifferent: “Ms. Whitaker, if you really felt sorry, you should bow and apologize properly. Saying one thing to my face and another behind my tired for you.”

Roschelle’s elegant smile at the corners of her mouth paused.
She gave a slight twitch at the corner of her mouth, her eyelids drooped, and it was a really aggrieved look.
Roschelle bit her lip, lifted her eyelids, looked at Kieran with that I want to say something but I can’t and pitiful look.
Kieran really felt sorry, put his arm around Roschelle’s shoulders, his eyes dark, looking at Alarieka like a warning.
His voice was low and sharp, “Alarieka.”
Alarieka looked up and smiled with her lips pressed together, “If Mr. Argent really cared about Ms. Whitaker, he shouldn’t have brought her to me. My mouth, whenever I see you guys, just wants to bite.
Kieran’s eyes narrowed a bit, showing a chilling intensity

“If I had known you guys were coming, I wouldn’t have come.” Alarieka slowly lifted her heavy skirt and turned to leave.
Kieran’s eyes stopped on Alaricka’s slender, fair neck, then slowly moved down to the high heels Alaricka was wearing.
Today, Alarieka wore a light–colored dress. The bottom was a really heavy and puffy big skirt. When she lifted the skirt, it showed her white high heels that glowed a little under her feet.
The heels on high heels were really high, and usually girls at this age weren’t used to them.
Not only did she walk steadily, but she was also tall. She kept her back straight with every step and walked beautifully.
Even just the back view could make people imagine things.
But Alarieka walked really steadily, like she wore them a lot.
Kieran lowered his eyelids, raised his hand and gently touched the back of Roschelle’s head, saying softly, “Let’s go.”
Roschelle smiled with her lips pressed together and said softly, “Okay, let’s go together.”
The scene at the school anniversary was way livelier than before, and a lot of people who weren’t students here came in from outside, all crowding into the school auditorium.
Alarieka stood on the stage and could see clearly.
A good number of people held up pink light signs for Roschelle, held them up high, and cheered loudly.
“Roschelle! Roschelle!”

A lot of people came for Roschelle, and some came for Roschelle and Kieran.
After Alarieka got on stage, the voices calling Roschelle from the audience suddenly stopped.
Instead, there were quiet, teeth–gritted curses.
“How come it was her? What bad luck?”
“Can you get off the stage? Don’t let this kind of person host Rose’s show, I really couldn’t stand the sight.”
“Dead homewrecker.”
Some voices just said it out loud without hiding it at all.
The hosts next to Alarieka looked at Alarieka a few times with somewhat awkward expressions on their faces.
Alarieka started as usual.
“Welcome, everyone, to…”
Roschelle and Kieran’s duet was saved for the final act, and Alarieka stood so long her legs went numb before she finally got to call out Roschelle and Kieran under the spotlight.
“The next program was a four–hand piano performance by our alumni, Mr. Argent and Ms. Whitaker. They played ‘My Love.’ Let’s give a big hand to Mr. Argent and Ms. Whitaker!”
Before she finished speaking, her voice was drowned out by the cheers of Roschelle’s fans.
