Chapter 232
Anastasia looked at the woman, frowning. “That’s me. And you are…?”
“You homewrecking slut! How dare you seduce my husband?” The woman raised her hand to slap Anastasia.
Anastasia quickly caught the woman’s wrist, her frown deepening. “Lady, I think you’ve got the wrong person.”
“Aren’t you the hottest chick in this company?” the woman demanded.
Anastasia was pretty confident about her looks, but being the absolute hottest in the company? That was up for debate.
“Ha! I knew you were guilty!”
The woman started shrieking: “Vincent Dalton! Get your pathetic ass out here! Stop hiding like a pussy–I found your side piece!”
Vincent?
Anastasia raised an eyebrow. She was starting to connect the dots.
“You’ve got the wrong woman. Your husband’s cheating with someone else,” Anastasia told Mrs. Dalton.
“No way! I asked the front desk and she said you’re the prettiest girl here.”
Gee, thanks for the ego boost, but I really don’t need this shit, Anastasia thought.
“Since when do homewreckers have to be the prettiest? Ugly women can be sneaky as hell too. You’re gorgeous and still can’t keep your man–that says something about his… particular taste,” Anastasia said.
She knew damn well it was Narissa sleeping with Vincent. She’d always figured their affair would explode eventually, but never thought she’d be dragged into it.
Anastasia’s words hit Mrs. Dalton right in the ego–who doesn’t love being called gorgeous?
But she wasn’t buying it that easily.
“Where the hell is Vincent? I’m not leaving until we hash this out!”
Sharlene absolutely refused to believe Anastasia would mess around with Vincent, especially knowing who Ana was actually with.
No way would Anastasia dump drop–dead gorgeous, loaded Cassian for Vincent.
What would she want with Vincent? His receding hairline? His body odor? His broke–ass bank account?
Sharlene marched to Vincent’s office and pounded on the door, yelling: “Vincent! Your wife’s here looking for you!”
Inside, Vincent and Narissa were mid–hookup when the banging totally killed the vibe.
Narissa looked at Vincent with pure disgust. The old bastard was losing his touch–couldn’t even perform properly anymore.
If he wasn’t still useful to her career, she wouldn’t touch him with a ten–foot pole.
Sharlene yelled again: “Vincent! Your wife is in the building!”
Vincent freaked out and shoved Narissa away.
“Hide! Now!” he hissed.
Narissa frantically fixed her clothes while searching for somewhere to disappear.

Chapter 232
Vincent hurriedly opened the door, but Mrs. Dalton was already standing there.
She eyeballed Vincent like a CSI investigator, scanning for evidence.
Suddenly, Mrs. Dalton spotted lipstick smeared on Vincent’s neck!
“You cheating bastard!”
She smacked him hard across the face.
After the shock wore off, Vincent’s eyes went dark with rage.
This was his goddamn workplace–he wouldn’t let her embarrass him like this.
“You psycho bitch! Get your ass home!” Vincent snarled, looking ready to get violent.
Mrs. Dalton froze in terror, too stunned to move.
Anastasia rushed over and pulled Mrs. Dalton to safety.
“Vincent, your wife is pregnant!” she said coldly.”
Vincent snapped back to reality, staring at Mrs. Dalton’s baby bump with mixed emotions.
“If you know you’re knocked up, you should be home taking care of yourself,” Vincent said.
“If I stayed home, you’d be banging that whore right here in your office, wouldn’t you?”
Mrs. Dalton studied Vincent’s neck. That lipstick was the trendy “cherry bomb“/shade everyone was wearing lately. She needed to figure out who else
had that color on.
Her eyes quickly swept over everyone in the office.
Finally, Mrs. Dalton’s gaze locked on Vincent’s secretary Lena, and her expression turned murderous.
Clutching her lower back, she charged at the secretary: “It’s you, isn’t it?”
Lena was too terrified to dodge, stammering: “It wasn’t me, it was…
“Lena, shut the fuck up!” Vincent barked.
The secretary snapped her mouth shut, looking at Vincent with wide, innocent eyes.
“What were you gonna say? Who was it? Spit it out!” Mrs. Dalton’s voice cracked with hysteria.
“Security! Where the hell is security?” Vincent couldn’t give less of a shit about Mrs. Dalton. If she wasn’t pregnant, he would’ve dumped her ass years ago. She was getting old and boring and way beneath him now.
“Wait, where’s Narissa? Anyone seen her around?” Sharlene called out during the chaos.
These assholes aren’t throwing Ana under the bus
Narissa?
Mrs. Dalton’s eyes sharpened with recognition.
Now she remembered! Some woman had been calling Vincent constantly, claiming it was work stuff, saying she was a designer,
Even when Mrs. Dalton answered the phone, that bitch would be all sweet, calling her “Mrs. Dalton.”
She’d never suspected a thing.
Chapter 232
But now it all made sense…
“Where is Narissa? Where the hell is she?”
