“What happened?”

Jacob’s voice was trembling.

Looking at Samuel’s expression, Jacob suddenly grabbed his hand and asked nervously, “Did it have anything to do with Olivia?”

After finishing his words, Samuel lifted his foot and walked away.

He had told Jacob whatever he ought to. It would be Jacob’s decision to make the choice.

Jacob felt as if he was struck by the lightning. He stood motionlessly, and Samuel’s words kept reechoing in his mind.

“Olivia was drugged by chronic toxicity. She has started coughing blood.”

Those words were like a magic spell, reechoing in his ears again and again.

Suddenly, Jacob thought that he himself was absolutely a jerk.

He had done wrong to Olivia when he wanted to have a baby. He also knew that Olivia had suffered a lot of grievances because of it. He also wanted to help her and punish the wicked, but he just wanted to punish Julissa after the baby would be born. He had never expected that Olivia was dying.

She looked as if she was startled. Staring at it, she suddenly burst into laughter. While laughing, she gradually turned to weep while squatting there.
