‘Blake.…….” I called his name, no longer disguising my pleasure. My fingers traced patterns on his ba feeling the tension and release of his muscles.
When the climax came, I clung to Blake, feeling waves of pleasure course through my body. He gently kissed me as he reached his own peak.
The night became a blur of passion.
We held each other in the afterglow, only to reignite each other’s desire again and again, as if trying to make up for all the time we’d lost.
I awoke suddenly, my body aching pleasantly but my mind in turmoil. Blake slept beside me, his features softened in sleep, looking younger and unburdened.
Last night’s frenzy had left me exhausted.
Moving carefully to avoid waking him, I slipped out of bed. I grabbed the first piece of clothing I could find and wrapped it around myself before quietly leaving the room.
Blake’s POV:
I opened my eyes the moment Anna left, fully awake. I’d felt her stir, heard her careful movements as she tried not to wake me. The space beside me was still warm from her body.
I checked my phone: 5:07 AM. I typed a quick message and received an immediate response. Everything was proceeding according to plan.
Anna’s POV:
I crept downstairs to the dressing room to find proper clothes, then headed to a guest bathroom on the first floor to shower. As the water cascaded over me, memories of Blake’s gentleness flooded back. My skin flushed hot at the memory, and I turned the temperature down.
Lounging in the bathtub, I called Emily, wincing at the soreness in my muscles.
“Anna,” she answered groggily, “if this isn’t a matter of life and death, I will never forgive you, I
swear…”
“Emily…” I whimpered, my voice raspy and raw.
There was a pause, then Emily’s voice sharpened with surprise. “Anna? Is that really you?”

Chapter 349
I cleared my throat. Yes, It’s me. I need your help with something
What’s up? Her voice turned serious, sensing my urgency.
Claire sent me the address for today’s auction. She’s planning to expose some photos of me there and I need to prepare for a confrontation.”
“Photos? What photos?” Emily asked, confusion evident in her voices
“It’s complicated,” I replied, speaking rapidly. “The point is, Claire wants money. She’s trying to force me to bid high on Frank’s property. I need you to follow me there separately. Bring a recording device disguised as a brooch–they’ll search me thoroughly, but you should be fine.”
“Wait,” Emily’s voice turned stiff. “Is this really our only option? That could hurt you too.”
“I don’t have a choice anymore,” my voice cracked with emotion. “Claire has those photos. She’ll expose them regardless of how much I pay for that land. If that’s inevitable, I need to control how this plays out. Once Frank sees what she’s really like, he’ll be too busy saving himself to protect her
anymore.”
I knew Emily would understand. Public scandal moved faster than any amount of power. Blue Wave Technologies couldn’t compete with someone like Frank Hamilton in terms of influence, but scandal was the great equalizer.
