Annas Pov
Blake, you’re being completely unreasonable! You’re dodging the real issue?‘ I snapped, frustration boiling meer.
Blake gripped my hand tightly, tilting my chin up. His intense stare sent an unwanted flutter through me. Who exactly ste se taking point reving a kid
with?
My Tace burned as I tried to look away, but Blake cornered me—both literally and figuratively. Anns wants Blake to have a baby with her, he teid, las voice low and intimate, striking a thord deep inside. ‘Anna is you. Blake is me.”
You’re impossible,” I muttered, feeling trapped, angry, and flustered. His smug half–smile made me want to dap him–or kiss him, despite miguelf.
If we’re having a kid, we remarry first,” Blake stated, suddenly all business. Legal protections, raising the child–marriage is essential.
I crossed my arms. The baby could take my name–Anderson. I never agreed to remarriage! You’re getting way ahead.”
His eyes glinted with mischief. ‘Disappointed I didn’t kiss you just now?”
He leaned in, and I pressed my hand against his chest. “No. Back off.”
Blake grabbed his phone. “I’ll have my assistant book a wedding venue-*
“Blake!” I snatched it away. “You’re jumping the gun! Today was just a check–up for you. I never agreed to remarry!”
At “check–up,” his expression darkened. “Do you even know what kind of check–up this is?”
“Not exactly…” I admitted, reaching for the door. “I’ll get the doctor-*
He yanked my wrist, pulling me back. His eyes were red, burning into mine. “You still don’t believe I only want to marry you, have kids with you? What will it take for you to see I only love you?”
I sighed, emotionally drained. “Blake, this won’t work. If your results are good, we can treat this as… a donation. I’ll pay if needed. Then we move on, no strings attached.”
“A donation?” His voice was icy. “You’re heartless, Anna.”
I decided to be blunt. “If you can’t accept this, I’ll find someone else. Sperm banks have plenty of options these days.”
His laugh was cold, menacing. “If I find out you’ve done that, I’ll make sure he can’t father anything ever again. You pick one, I’ll ruin one.”
A chill ran down my spine. That controlling, possessive side of Blake I’d always feared was surfacing again. –
“You’re such a control freak, I muttered.
When the doctor knocked, asking if we’d decided, I looked at Blake.
“The examination,” he said firmly. “We’re doing it. And I want my wife with me.”
He led me to the sofa in the exam room, his grip firm as we waited in tense silence. I glanced at his profile. Was he nervous? Blake hated hospitals after his long stay years ago. Maybe he needed support?
He twirled my hair, his face unreadable. I closed my eyes, pretending to rest, feeling his fingers trace my cheek.
“You nervous?” he asked softly..
“No,” I lied, though I felt a strange mix of amusement and sympathy. Despite our complicated history, I couldn’t forget everything we’d been through.

Fifteen minutes later mine led an to a terluded room.
“Any surveillance?” Blake asked sharply.
None, Mr. Wright. It’s off as requested, she stammered, handing him a bag with a small eup and tissues before hurrying away.
He smirked. She’s worried she’ll see something she shouldn’t.”
Then it hit me—this wasn’t just any check–up. It was a fertility test. For him.
I’ll wait outside,” I said, heading for the door.
“Anna, his voice stopped me. “We’ve seen every part of each other. No need to act shy. His wicked grin irritated me. You wanted this test, so help me t
Before I could argue, he pushed me into the room, pinning me against the door as he locked it.
“You’ve lost your mind! I gasped, pushing against him. “There are people around!”
“Look,” he growled, forcing me to face the room.
I froze. A large bed and a TV playing an adult film stared back at me. My cheeks burned as I recalled Blake once joking we should “study” this kind of thing together.
“Turn that off…” I pleaded, mortified.
He dangled the bag, showing the cup. “Annie, help me. I might not be able to do this without you.”
“One sample’s enough,” I shot back, trying to stay detached despite my embarrassment.
He leaned in, breath hot on my ear. “How do you know I can’t manage it in one go?” His teeth grazed my collarbone, sending a shiver through me as his hands slid under my shirt, teasing my waist.
“Stop,” I gasped, shoving him. “I’m out. I’ve changed my mind about the test!”
“Blake! I’m getting angry!” I warned, though my voice wavered.
‘Can’t stop now, honey,” he murmured, hands roaming.
“We’re separated!” I snapped as he lifted me and carried me to the bed.
“Annie, I’m going to kiss you. Don’t say no,” he whispered, his lips crashing into mine.
I couldn’t help but respond, even as my mind screamed how wrong this was. His mouth moved from mine to my cheeks, forehead, neck–each kiss igniting my skin.
I cupped his face to stop him, but he deepened the kiss. “Annie, we’ll have another child. A healthy one,” he promised against my lips.
I pressed my forehead to his, desperate for space. “Get up. Now.”
He buried his face in my neck, voice shaky. “I won’t go too far. I swear.” His body was burning against mine.
I remembered how controlled he used to be, so different from this desperate man now.
He guided my hand to his belt. “Help me, please?”
“We’re separated,” I said weakly, resolve crumbling.
“But you said you wanted a child with me, he countered.

Without thinking, I unbuckled his belt, the metal cold against my fingers. Snapping out of it, I pulled my hand bars and packed him. “Pal bessings Handle
