Kelly’s POV
“Who are you?” I shot an eyebrow up as I saw a man standing in front of my mother’s grave.
He checked me from head to foot and then smiled. “You must be Kate’s daughter.”
I clenched my jaws. “I said who are you?”
He lifted his chin and his smile faded. “I could be an enemy or an ally. What do you want me to be?”
“It depends on your intention,” I said, gritting my teeth.
He chuckled. “You’re indeed a Foster. Bold and strong.”
I can now clearly see his face. He has thick eyebrows, long eyelashes, red lips, pointed proud nose and angled jaw. He has thin stubbles on his jaws and chin and he looked like he’s just the same age as Pierce.
He took a step forward and offered me his hand, asking for a handshake. “Matt Foster.”
My forehead creased. “Foster?”
He smirked. “Hello, cousin.”
I was alarmed because of that. He’s a Foster. There’s a big chance he’s an enemy.
“I’m Connor and Diane Foster’s son. Eldest.”
I gritted my teeth as I stared at his face. I know they have sons. Twins. But according to the information I gathered, the twins are residing in another country, enjoying the money of the Foster family. Now, they no longer have access to the company, they’re back and I’m certain they will join their parents.
“Matt, let’s go! Mom’s calling already...”
Matt Foster tilted his head, looking at the man walking towards us while holding his phone. “That’s Mason. My twin.”
The man named Mason slowed down when he saw me. He doesn’t look approachable. His face immediately darkened after he saw me. He clenched his jaws.
“Matt, let’s go. Stop talking to a greedy person.”
Greedy person? I couldn’t help but laugh sarcastically. Really now? I’m greedy.
“What’s funny?” Mason walked closer and towered me, trying to intimidate me but to his luck, I can’t be intimidated.
I looked up at him and smirked. “Look who’s talking? I didn’t spend any cent of our grandmother’s money on something useless, Mason Foster. I’m working in the company unlike you who’s just spending the money abroad without even working.”
“You—”
“Mason, stop it!” Matt Foster stopped him, dragging him away from me.
“Let go!” Mason pushed his twin’s arm and glared at me before he started walking away. “I told you not to come here. Eva Foster has already eaten my worms long ago, anyway. What’s the pint of coming here?”
“You bastard!” I couldn’t help it. I attacked him and slapped him.
“What the fck?” Mason attempted to slap me but someone came and pushed him away. He lost balance and fell on the grass. Matt, who saw what happened, immediately attacked the man who pushed his twin.
“Pierce!” I screamed when Pierce and Matt started exchanging punches. My eyes widened when I saw Mason getting up and helping his twin punching Pierce.
“Pierce!” I screamed again as I roamed my eyes around. No one’s here to help us. No! No!
“Matt! Mason!”
