As soon as she finished speaking Lei Qian's face turned red. He lowered his head and apologised, "Sorry, I was not thinking."

"That… much is clear," Bai Meiyue stated in a clipped voice.

However, when she saw that the man was clearly distraught, she then said to him, "It will be better if we help that girl in an indirect way."
