By this time, a lot of the enemies were struggling to move because of the poison from the arrows. Most of them were around his level, and he couldn't one-shot them, but the poison was definitely instrumental in his lethality.
Loki nodded, satisfied with the effect.
Not to mention Miss Althea's big brain, the addition of Grandmaster Hoffen in the territory ensured that a lot of potent poisons would soon be available to them.
The trouble here was that he needed some time to douse the arrows every time he refilled his quiver, which was essentially his 'reloading' period.
He couldn't coat the arrows before the fight because the poison was strong and would destroy the arrowheads after a minute of contact with the poison.
Kon wasn't too stupid and had noticed this pattern after several instances of witnessing it. So the moment Loki had to reload, the man screamed at his teammates near him.
"GET HIM!!" Kon yelled, already running towards him. "GET HIM NOW!"
"GET THE ANTIDOTE!"
People started converging to where Loki was.
Loki's blank face didn't change and he continued shooting, targeting those who were getting close to him, making people have second thoughts.
Kon saw this and just felt livid. "HE HAS A LOWER LEVEL THAN MOST OF YOU! DON'T YOU FEEL ASHAMED!?
"ATTACK HIM RIGHT NOW IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO STAB YOU MYSELF!"
A lot of the people hit had fallen, while the surviving ones converged to get Loki. The higher level ones leaped up to the balcony. There were three of them. They thought the bastard finally had no place to go!
Loki was standing on one of the balconies of the houses. On all sides, there was someone stretching their arms to get him. Instead of staying though, Loki jumped off and the wind seemed to flow as it followed him.
Loki leaped off the easily-accessible balcony, but instead of falling down, wind surrounded him and lifted him up.
He did it with such grace that everyone knew it was not normal.
Sadly, they didn't have the time to react because before the bastard even landed, his sharp arrowhead was already pointing at them.
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
The three men fell down at the same time. Because they were relatively near him and in eye level (and distractedly staring straight at him), Loki was able to hit them straight through their eyes and through their brains, killing them.
Loki nodded. He got one-shot kills too rarely in this war, he was starting to feel lacking.
Kon screamed. He was heading to Loki when he 'flew' and he was forced to change his direction suddenly, the momentum making him slide.
He was in a bit of pain and was angry as heck, he was waving his sword around as he headed to Loki, hitting his own people along the way.
All uniforms had flame-retardant qualities into them as well, which was especially useful to fire users who had to worry about their own clothing catching fire. freeweɓnovel.cѳm
