You're Not My Mate novel Chapter 30

"Why have we never seen her demon form?" I asked.

"Why did the other demons not need to get injected?" Simon asked.

"Why does she have to compete?"

"How long will this last?"

"Why the hell is Logan competing?"

"Why is Logan not injected?"

"Shut up would you!" Sean yelled at us, we went quiet, out of fear. Before when he got angry we had Violet to interfere, now we don't.

"Violet is not here, I can kill you with a snap of my fingers. But, I won't, because then I will get my head severed but, don't think that I won't hurt you if you piss me off." He warned. We nodded.

"Good. Sit down. I will answer you dumb questions." He stated at went to sit on the couch. We followed.

"One: Violet has daggers in her wings because her demon, Lucifer, sensed danger that her regular demon form could not handle, that form will now forever be her normal form. Two: she has always had a demon form. Three: he is only active during the games, otherwise he is sleeping in the back of her head. Four: the other demons don't have super strong wolfs. Five: every demon is required to fight in the games, it makes sure that all demons are strong, amd worthy of being called a demon. Six: this will last till the last three demons are the only ones standing. Seven: he is a demon, the real question is why he is just now fighting, and how he got out of it for years. Eight: Logan was injected, just not in the public's eye sight, you could see it in his eyes that he had a weak wolf, he was a last minute contestant so they didn't have time to set that up." He explained. We just nodded, understanding more now.

"Now. Go to bed. We wake up early tomorrow." He demanded, walking up stairs to his bedroom. We follow suit, getting ready for bed. A few hours later I wake to yelling coming from downstairs. I look over at the time. 2:45 it read. I groan, and walk out of the room. Apparently it woke up Simon too because he was standing just down the hall by the stairs. I walk over to him.

"What's happening?" I ask him. He turns to me.

"Sean and Satan are yelling about Logan being in the games." He says, I nod and lean against the wall listening to them.

The next morning I woke up to banging on my door.

"Get up! We need to get to the arena! Sean made breakfast!" Alpha Simon shouted from the other side.

"I'll be down in a second!" I shouted back. I heard him walk away and down stairs. I get up, wash my face, brush my teeth, get dressed in black ripped jeans, a plain blackt-shirt, and black sneakers. I walk down stairs, to see Sean sitting on the counter, drinking a green mixture, there was pancakes on the table that Alpha Simon was eating. I sit down across from him, and start to eat.

"Alex, you look like a damn goth." Sean stated making Simon choke on the pancake in his mouth, and burst out laughing. I roll my eyes.

"Sean! Where are you babe?!" A sketching voice yelled making me and Simon hold our ears to percent our wolfs from hearing loss. Sean looked over at the stairs, having a bourd expression on.

"Angelina, you are a good fuck and all but, get out." He said. I looked over at the girl. She reminded me a lot of Lilly, blonde hair that's obviously diyed, 90% of her was plastic, slutty clothes, annoying voice, desperate, and really fucking clingy.
