Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 797
Joshua was a famous public figure in Banyan City.
Upon Yvonne’s words, the surrounding crowd started looking for Joshua and had dispersed by quite a bit.
Luna was pinned on the ground. The moment she lifted her head, she saw Fiona clutching at her chest where her heart was while tugging on Joshua’s arm outside the crowd.
Her body was pressed onto the cold, hard floor. She saw how Joshua initially wanted to come over but stopped because of what Fiona said.
Luna closed her eyes. Her heart sank to the bottom.
Joshua must have seen what was happening, and that was why he came over. However, just because of something Fiona said, he turned around.
Was this the man who loved her deeply for so many years?
He knew she was about to be beaten up. He also knew she could not go up against Yvonne and her husband.
Alas, he abandoned all of his worries for her and turned around again, just because of something Fiona said.
Yvonne’s fat husband’s slap was about to land on her. Luna shut her eyes and stopped struggling.
It was only because her children were mocked. It was only getting beaten up.
How could she compare to a few coughs and words from Fiona?
She was nothing. In Joshua’s heart, she was nothing. Luna should have known this earlier.
Luna was foolish. She still had ignorant expectations for Joshua.
Even with her eyes closed for quite a while, however, she still had not felt the slap.
The expected pain did not come. What came was a thud, the sound of a heavy object landing.
Then, the fat man’s wailing.
Luna shuddered a little and subconsciously opened her eyes.
After getting Joshua’s approval, Christian delightedly kicked harshly at Yvonne’s husband a few more times. Then, he turned, bent down, and worriedly looked at Luna, who was on the ground.
“Are you alright?“
Luna shook her head. “I’m fine.“
She forced herself to get up, but she had used up too much of her energy a moment ago. At that moment, her entire body felt like jelly, and she could not even sit up.
Christian sighed. “You call this ‘fine’?”
He rolled his eyes and picked Luna up.
With her legs weak, Luna could not stand on her own. She could only lean onto Christian to maintain her balance.
Christian sighed. He looked at Fiona, who was in Joshua’s arms being cared for, past the crowd. He then shifted his gaze to Luna who was still determined to stand up on her own, trying hard to not rely too much on him.
Christian did not know why, but he was a little heartbroken.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
