Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1338
“Initially, I wanted to help you, since we’re sisters, after all.
“As long as Luna died, the real heiress of the Landry family won’t be able to return, but now…
“It’s all my fault. I already knew how incompetent you were, yet I still let you take on such a challenging task. Now, you have no other way of getting out… If Joshua comes searching for you, you won’t be able to hide from him in Banyan City.
“Even though I’m your sister, I ‘m too far away, and I can’t help you much…“
Aura bit her lip when she heard this. “Don’t worry, Sis.“
She narrowed her eyes and continued, “If I’m going to die, I’ll drag Luna and her three rascals down with me! “
The woman on the other end of the line sniffed. “But Aura, I still want you to come home alive…“
Aura narrowed her eyes but did not reply. Instead, she hung up the phone.
When she hung up, the camera on the TV screen had shifted onto Joshua, who had one arm wrapped around Luna’s shoulder tenderly. He was talking about hosting a memorial service for Granny Lynch.
The intimacy between Joshua and Luna made Aura feel as though thorns were pricking into her heart. She picked up something from the table and smashed it on the ground in anger. That b*tch!
How could that b*tch Luna find a way to surpass her every time? If it were not for Luna, she would not even become so jealous!
It was all Luna’s fault!
Aura slumped down in the mess of shattered glass, panting.
The door was pushed open.
She caught sight of Aura and, thinking she was a woman who did not have money to hail a taxi into the city, took pity on her and stopped her van. “Hey, are you going into the city? Do you want to come on board?“
Aura furrowed her brows and glanced at the tan- skinned, freckle-faced girl with a slightly disgusted expression.
However…
The sun was about to set, and she had no money either. If she did not take this opportunity to return to the city, she would have to spend the night outdoors.
With that, Aura narrowed her eyes and asked, “ Where are you headed?“
The female driver smiled at her. “The grandmother of Joshua Lynch, CEO of Lynch Group, has passed away, and he’s hosting a memorial service in her honor. I ‘m bringing these flowers to the memorial service.“
Aura paused for a moment, then curled her lips into a devious smile. She immediately pulled the door open and got into the van. ”Well, in that case, thank you.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
