Lovestory–Chapter 1
Pankie Gerardo scrimped and saved, working day and night, handing over all his money just to marry me as soon as possible.
So when the truck was about to hit me, I desperately held onto my last bit of consciousness and signed my name on the book of giving up on rescue.
Life had already been so difficult, that I couldn’t let him sacrifice everything for me, an orphan.
As the last message was sent out.
“Frankie, let’s break up. I have had enough of living a difficult life with you. Don’t come looking for
me.”
Afterward, I lost all consciousness.
But my soul saw Frankie in the most luxurious shopping mall, surrounded by people, exchanging drinks and toasting.
Frankie scrimped and saved, working day and night, handing over all his money just to marry me as soon as possible.
I looked at Frankie, who was sitting in the middle, with confusion.
Looking back, one could see their body being covered with a white cloth and pushed toward the
morgue.
Until someone shouted, “Mr. Gerardo, how long are you going to play this game of pretending to be poor? We’ve been waiting for you to marry Ms. Gustavo!”
I suddenly realized that I had already died and my soul had come to Frankie’s side.
The people in the private room laughed heartily, looking at Frankie and the elegant woman sitting next to him with a hint of ambiguity.
I glanced at the woman only once, and a strong sense of inferiority prevented me from lifting my
head.
I looked down at my outfit and realized that today was my birthday.
Before leaving, Frankie told me that he would prepare a surprise for me and asked me to dress up nicely.
I took out my best and most decent clothes, but it was just a pair of denim overalls that hadn’t been washed enough to turn white.
Although I was an orphan, I never had anyone to take care of me since I was young, so I always knew

So before I met Frankie, even though I didn’t have any branded clothes or bags, I still had money to occasionally buy some cheap clothes online.
After being together with Frankie, he said he would save money to marry me and tirelessly worked. as a delivery driver day and night.
I was touched by someone’s kindness toward me and also felt sorry for their hard work.
We actively saved money together, calculating every penny we spent. We even pooled all the money we earned as our wedding fund.
It took us a year to save up to 16 thousand dollars!
But now Frankie reached out and pointed at the man who had asked the question, pretending to be angry, and said, “You’re the one who always asks questions.”
After speaking, he casually threw out an exquisite gift box and said, “Take it, it’s a newly bought
second–hand cufflink.”
Someone shouted, “Benjamin, it’s unfair! You got angry and still gave him a gift worth hundreds of
thousands of dollars.”
Someone interrupted the person who was speaking. “You know nothing. They were prepared to surprise Frankie’s true love!”
As the sound fell, the private room suddenly plunged into darkness, waiting for the light to be
restored.
