The man didn't want to let go of Elisa, his savior.
He even pulled Elisa's hand and refused to let go.
Elisa was utterly annoyed.
He was in his fifties. Why didn't he know how to accept rejection from others?
He was being so… shameless.
He was trusting a stranger for no good reason. It was hard for her to believe what he was saying.
She struggled and wanted to remove her hand but never thought the man would fall on the floor!
At this time, other people noticed.
"What are you doing?!"
A loud and angry voice roared.
It was a man's voice. After that, a few people noticed and rushed to her, surrounding her!
"Do you know where we are? Do you know who you just harmed?"
The voice was familiar. It belonged to the man who had first berated her.
Elisa noticed that the man had a nasty expression and a cold yet ominous gaze in his eyes.
Elisa looked at the man who had just fallen to the floor. He slowly got up and didn't say a word. Evidently, he was silently approving of the other man rebuking her.
So.
Was he using such a way to force her to compromise and treat him?
If that was the case, Elisa felt slightly amused.
She saved the person but ended up being troubled!
"What did I do? He was pestering me to treat him! If you don't believe me, can't you just check the surveillance footage?" Elisa sneered and spoke indifferently.
He had a good relationship with Winslow. He had never seen someone like Elisa enter the casino all these years, nor had he heard Winslow mention someone like her.
But from Brie's protective gaze and how she was about to make a move, the man quickly realized that the girl in front of him was Elisa Benett, the person rumored to have an affair with Winslow!
Which was the niece Winslow had mentioned!
After realizing it, the man regretted his actions and for not stopping his subordinates from going forward.
And what he had said.
"Where's Mr. Knowles?"
The man asked about Winslow.
Elisa didn't say anything. She didn't think the man before her was her uncle's acquaintance.
