The long-expected day of the friends came, they left and went to a resort in Batangas to relax. The couple wanted to take their child but their parents did not agree because they will take care of it first because they miss their grandson.

They used Cain's car to use only one car because it was so big that they could fit six people in it and their belongings. They plan to stay there for three days to make their vacation worthwhile, they still want to do it for a week but the men will be in the office.

"Nique just sit there next to Cain, after all he's the driver," Jewel said

At first the girl hesitated because Cain might get even angrier with her but she can't do anything.

"What are you waiting for? If you don't want to come much better," Cain muttered and got into the car.

She just sighed and rode on. She could not deny that Cain had hurt her so much not only by the way he treated her but also by the words he uttered.

"Who were you talking to earlier?" Dark suddenly asked.

Cain looked at him for a moment before driving again. "It's Sophia,"

"Woooh! Are you two talking again?" Thunder asked

"It's been a long time so yes, we are okay," he replied

"W-wait wait, who's Sophia? Your cousin hon?" Jewel groaned and Thunder nodded

"Who's that? I know he's Thunder's cousin. But what's her relationship with Cain?" Calli asked

"Cain's ex," Dark replied

Monique got almost uneasy because of what her friends were talking about. She is also aware that Cain had many ex -girlfriends and ex-flings, but she doesn't pay attention to it because in the past what she can't understand is why she was interested in Sophia.

"All I know is Sophy is coming home," Thunder whispered

"When? I also missed that woman," Jewel exclaimed happily

"She's already here in the Philippines," Cain replied

"Wow, You are updated in Sophia's whereabouts, did you two come back as a couple already?" Dark teased, who was immediately punched by Calli and teased Monique who was silent.

Dark's mouth really couldn't be stopped either. No one spoke to them because of the tension around them.

They also know the truth that Cain and Sophia are just friends, because Sophia is already engaged to another man and it's been a long time since Cain and Sophia broke up. Almost all of them are friends with Sophia except for Calli and Monique who don't know the girl yet.

They also took a few hours and it was almost night when they arrived at the resort.

"It looks like we need to have our dinner, the traffic is so annoying," Dark exclaimed

"It's Friday so expected," Jewel replied

They just took their belongings and went straight to the room they had reserved. They reserved four rooms, one for Thunder and Jewel, one for Dark and Calleigh, one for Monique and one for Cain.

"Why do you need to have different rooms, Cain? You and Monique can only have the same room to save money," said Calli.

"I don't want anyone else in my room Calli," Cain replied

"Oh hey, let's hurry up and put our things away so we can eat as well," Jewel said

"We're going to have a fire later, aren't we?" Calli asked

"Yes, so hurry up," Jewel said and walked away, everyone quickly nodded.

It was exactly seven o'clock in the evening when they left their room together. They discussed that they would have dinner there at a seafood restaurant below the hotel where they were staying.

They didn't have a hard time because there weren't that many people there so they could easily get a vacancy and order.

"What are you smiling Jew?" Cain suddenly asked,

"Hello Monique, you're pretty,"

Monique smiled hard. "Thank you Sophia, you're gorgeous too."

"Do you have anything to do later? We'll have a fire after dinner, the staff has fixed everything we need. Wanna come with us?" Dark asked

"Sure, but I need to go back first, I'll need to tell this to my brother so that he won't bother to find me anymore," she replied

"I'll call him," Thunder said

Later, they suddenly saw Sophia's older brother approaching them.

"Hey guys, It's nice to meet you all again here," he greeted with a smile.

"Big bro Dane !!" Jewel shouted sharply and quickly hugged the young man

"You are still acting like a child Mercyl whenever you see me," he said with a laugh

The girl immediately sniffed because of this. "How are you bro? It's good to see you here again," Thunder said

"I'm still handsome bro."

He also greeted Cain and Dark, they know Dane because apart from being Thunder's cousin, they also take the young man to business gatherings. While he met Calli, Dark's girlfriend when he last returned to the Philippines.

"Wait, is this your girlfriend Monique, right Cain?" Dane suddenly said

"No brother, Monique is Jewel's friend," Sophia replied

Dane looked at the men as if asking questions but they just shrugged and immediately nodded. He knew the truth that this was Cain's girlfriend, but he didn't ask any more questions because he didn't want to cause any more trouble.

Before Dane said goodbye and returned to his friends, Sophia asked her brother permission to hang out with Thunder's group and her brother agreed.
