Seeing Dixon's strong reaction, Babur burst out laughing, "Hey, don't get too excited. Your condition has just stabilized. So, be careful. Or, I might not be able to save you again when you spit out a mouthful of blood."
Dixon did not say anything. But his expression was gloomy.
Babur gloated and asked him, "Why are you not happy? Sonia has become famous and accepted by everyone. You should be happy."
After a long silence, Dixon said, "I don't want people to know how good she is."
"Gee, you are so possessive." Babur commented briefly, "You fought with her before. But when you two are not together, you've become like this. Do you have to be like this? Can't one of you just bow down and admit you're wrong?"
Dixon glanced at Babur, "I can't help it." He wanted to. But Sonia didn't want his concession.
She wanted his admission of defeat.
Babur looked at Dixon's cold side face which could make millions of women crazy. In the U country, Babur had seen many nurses lining up to look after Dixon in his ward. All of those young nurses had volunteered to do so.
So, basically, Dixon could have as many women as he wanted. And there were a lot of women who wanted to love him.
So, why did he so obsess with Sonia?
Babur was a little confused.
Later, he saw Dixon get up. The man picked up the phone and put it down, as if he was in a dilemma to check the information about Sonia. He looked hesitant, as if he was suffering.
Only then did Babur understand that all those legendary love romances might have to end in such a tragic way.
"No need." Sonia smiled and waved her hand, "I'll go by myself. You've had quite a lot of high school homework lately."
Victor didn't deny it. He had to say, "Then remember to protect yourself when you go alone. Or, you can ask Uncle Quincy with you."
However, Sonia finally chose to go alone. It would be inappropriate to ask Quincy to accompany her in such matters. Quincy was not in a relationship with her after all.
When she got to Starlight Media, she saw Hertha as soon as she entered.
Hertha didn't expect to see Sonia again. Seeing Sonia walk in alone without any company, she thought it would be a good opportunity for her to bully Sonia. Without even thinking, she arrogantly went up to her and said, "Well, it looks like I underestimated you. You actually become the spokesperson of the film festival? How many senior executives have you slept with?"
It was an open secret in the entertainment industry to get certain roles by sleeping with those executives who were in charge. Hertha took for granted that Sonia was also using such tactics.
