Sonia arrived at the Borris Family half an hour later. She asked the driver to park at the entrance of the Borris Family's estate. She paid the driver and stood against the wind for a while. She held back her tears and fixed her expression and mood. Then, she slowly walked along the path of the estate.
Lang and Helena were watering the plants in the garden. Without Dixon, the couple had lost their hope for life. They only had these daily routines.
When Helena saw Sonia walking towards them among the flowers, her hand shook and the shower pot clattered to the ground.
Sonia stepped forward and met Helena's eyes. At that moment, she felt that all words had been turned into vanity.
Helena looked at Sonia with a delighted smile. She went up and asked, "Sonia, you're here?"
She wiped her hands forcefully, "Is there any news from Dixon? Did he wake up? How is he going?"
Sonia's conscience was being tortured. Should she tell the truth to this poor and pathetic mother?
After a long silence, Sonia looked up and chose to confess.
"Helena... Please be strong."
All of Helena's smiles froze in a flash.
Sonia could not lie. She turned her head and did not dare to look at Helena's face. She said sobbingly with her fists clenched, "Dixon... Dixon is dead."
"Dixon is dead."
"Dead"
Helena took two steps backward. She looked at Sonia's face and kept shaking her head, mumbling, "No way, you are lying. You are lying to me, aren't you? "Sonia, I know you won't lie to me... Tell... Tell me the truth."
Quincy felt his heart ached. Subconsciously, he held her in his arms. At that moment, Sonia had no more strength to struggle. All the emotions came to her together and almost crushed her.
Quincy patted Sonia's back gently with his shivering hands, "Don't cry... Don't cry... Dixon wouldn't want to see you cry. "He would like to see you leave with a smile. Only then would he be relieved..."
Then Quincy went up to comfort Lang. When he was leaving, he said to Jarvis, "I still worry about Sonia. I'll go find her first."
Jarvis grabbed Quincy's hand. His eyes were full of murderous intent, "Dixon just died. If you dare to touch his woman, I'll kill you even if I have to sacrifice my life."
His voice was full of alarm and threats.
Quincy sneered and shook off Jarvis' hand, "I'm not that nasty to touch my friend's woman when he just died."
