Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1650

"I would love to," Helen gladly agreed.

"That's great." Bentley rubbed his hands together excitedly. "Mia, come join us too."

"But I still have an appointment later." Mia shrugged helplessly.

"Is that so?" Bentley thought it over for a moment before turning to instruct the assistant behind him, "Help Mia take care of it."

"Thank you, Mr. Spade."

They then went to Regalia Restaurant. By the time they arrived, Taylor was already in the private room.

"My idol is here." Taylor got up to welcome them. "The wine has been decanted. Shall we order the dishes now?"

As he spoke, he went over to pull out a chair for Helen. While being considerate, he also teased the two kids. "Linc, did you miss me, your godfather, these days?"

Lincoln turned away and dodged the hand reaching out to him. "You're stupid, so you're not my godfather."

"Hey, this kid even looks down on me now." Taylor smacked his lips, feeling a bit helpless. After all, he had been outsmarted by Lincoln multiple times now.

After everyone was seated, Taylor sat down beside Bentley. He was about to sip some tea to soothe his throat when the door of the private room was kicked open from outside.

Abigail glanced at everyone at the table before putting the baseball bat away. "I spare you for the sake of my idol, my goddaughter, and my godson. You better behave, or I'll show no mercy."

"Tsk, tsk. Who isn't?" Taylor mischievously shook his head and sat down on the other side of Bentley.

But Taylor and Abigail seemed to be at odds as there was an explosive tension between them even from such a distance.

Mia quickly picked up her wine glass and smoothed things over. "Shall we raise a toast?"

"Hold on," Bentley interrupted her. "Let's wait for two more minutes. There's one more person coming."
