Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1598

"Then, how about you be my 'little sister'?" Lincoln said casually. However, he quickly shook his head, rejecting the idea.

"No, that won't work either, Nana will get jealous. You'll just be my little follower then. Yeah, that works. From now on, I'm your boss, and you have to listen to me, got it?"

"Mmhm!" Ivy suddenly hugged him. "I'll always listen to you, Linc!"

Lincoln's face immediately turned red. He quickly pushed Ivy away, stepping back a few steps. "That's not allowed!"

"What's wrong, Linc?" Ivy asked, looking innocent.

Lincoln's ears were burning red, and not knowing how to explain. He quickly changed the subject. "Never mind.

"Now, go change into clean clothes. Remember, from now on, you're not allowed to hug boys casually, get it?"

"Not even you?" Ivy asked expectantly.

"No!" Lincoln replied firmly. "If you don't listen, I won't want you anymore!"

"No, no! I'll listen! Don't leave me, Linc!" Ivy immediately gave in.

Lincoln nodded in satisfaction. "That's better. Come on, let's go."

At 10:00 am, Helen and Sienna arrived outside Lincoln's room.

As soon as they rang the doorbell twice, the door opened. Lincoln poked his head out and eagerly stepped aside.

"Mommy, Nana, please come in!"

Sienna giggled, "Linc! Are you playing as a waiter? I want to play too!"

"No," Lincoln replied softly. "I made a chocolate cake for you over by the couch. Go get it, quickly!"

"Thank you, Linc! You're the best!" Upon hearing this, Sienna dashed into the living room.

"Thank you, Mommy!" Lincoln hugged her and planted kisses all over her face. As soon as he let go, he darted toward the direction of the kitchen.

"I'm going to cook for you!"

"Stop right there!" Helen called out. "I've already forgiven you. Why are you still being so attentive? Did you do something else I don't know about?"

There was a saying that a mother knew her child best. Helen could sense that something was off with Lincoln's little gestures.

Lincoln chuckled awkwardly, turning around sheepishly with a grin. "Mommy, don't get mad when I tell you. I found something outside and brought it home. I want to keep her."

"Hm?" Helen raised an eyebrow. "A kitten or a puppy? You know your sister is allergic to cat fur, right? If it's a cat, that's a no."

"It's not! I promise!" Lincoln said as he excitedly ran into the bedroom and brought out Ivy by her hand.

"Look, Mommy. It's Ivy, not a cat. Nana won't be allergic!"
