Taylor paused and glanced at the staff member. He then came to his senses and quickly fixed his appearance.
Abigail rolled her eyes at him and walked in first. Taylor certainly wouldn't want to back down, so he also followed her in.
Helen thought they were just normal fans, so she set down her makeup and got ready to meet them. When she turned and saw Abigail and Taylor playfully entering, her eyes instantly became teary.
It was truly a wonderful blessing to be able to see them again after she survived death.
Abigail raised her hand and was about to smack Taylor's forehead. Halfway up, she realized that they had already entered the lounge.
As she turned and met "Kaylee's" eyes, she smiled awkwardly and lowered her hand in silence. "Hehe, did I scare you, Ms. Terzian? We were just playing around."
"I know." Helen smiled with relief; it seemed the two of them had been getting along quite well over the past few months.
In front of their favorite author, Abigail and Taylor simultaneously turned into good kids and stood side by side obediently.
"Ms. Terzian, I really enjoy your book. Can you give me an autograph?" Abigail shyly handed over the notebook she had prepared.
Helen was both amused and touched as she gladly took the notebook. "No problem." After writing Kaylee's name on it, she returned it to Abigail.
"Thank you." Abigail felt as if she had acquired a treasure. She suddenly remembered something and asked excitedly, "Mr. Terzian, may I ask if there'll be a sequel to this book? What will happen next after the protagonist gets her revenge on her stepmother's family?"
"I can't disclose it at the moment," Helen replied in a professional manner, as revealing it would ruin the suspense.
"It's okay. As long as you're willing to write it, I'll be willing to wait for it." Abigail was a devoted fangirl, completely disregarding any principles.
Helen couldn't stop smiling. "Thank you."
Helen took out her phone. "Can I have your number, Mr. Xander?"
Taylor was overjoyed, but he kept a straight face and pretended to be calm as he gave her his number.
"It's done." Helen was quick to finish the process. "Mr. Xander, please check your WhatsApp."
"Alright," Taylor replied arrogantly. When they weren't looking, he secretly curved his lips into a smile and quickly suppressed it again.
Seeing that both of them had added each other on WhatsApp, Abigail was angry and anxious. "Taylor, you're sneaky. You claimed that you're not a fan, yet you used this trick to get her number."
Taylor shook his phone and provoked Abigail mischievously. "Bleh, call the police on me then. Anyway, I have what you don't now."
"You bastard! Take this!"
