Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1336

"Good luck! Once you're done, let's go celebrate," Lennon said casually.

Sadie's lips curled into a slight smile, acknowledging his words. She was aware that Lennon had feelings for her, but he didn't have the courage to express them, resulting in an unspoken understanding between them.

She didn't mind this arrangement; it allowed her to enjoy her single status.

There were 20 finalists in total, and several competitors were already lined up ahead. Sadie walked confidently to the end of the queue, standing tall and poised.

Her striking features marked her as a classic beauty, embodying the image of the quintessential good girl. However, her subtle mix of confidence and arrogance quickly caught the attention of those around her.

Meanwhile, Dylan and Lennon stepped out of the car to wait for her.

Moments later, a reporter approached, pointing at Sadie as he turned to Dylan. "You must be Sadie Fletcher's family, right? I've heard that Ms. Fletcher's calligraphy skills are now on par with the legendary Ms. Void. Truly, heroes emerge from the youth!"

Dylan proudly lifted his chin, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. However, he kept his composure and replied casually, "You're mistaken; I'm Sadie's mentor, not a family member."

"So you're Little Iris' mentor, huh? My apologies, sir. Just one quick question—are the leaders of the calligraphy associations from across the country here for Ms. Fletcher?" the reporter asked, clearly intrigued.

Though he found the reporter somewhat annoying, Dylan didn't want to miss the chance to soak up the spotlight. With a hint of arrogance, he responded, "Who else would merit such a long journey?"

"Of course! Little Iris' reputation precedes her, so I'm sure she'll do well today. Sir, once the results are in, could you put in a good word for me with Ms. Fletcher? I'd love the chance for an exclusive interview." The reporter lavished praise on Dylan, even offering up the pricey cigarettes he usually wouldn't part with.

Dylan glanced at the cigarettes, feigning indifference as he pushed them aside. "We'll see. My student is like me—she doesn't enjoy the spotlight. But if the chance comes up, I'll have her say a few words to you."

"Just a few words would be more than enough! Thank you so much, sir! Would you like to sit in my car? I've got some premium fruit in there!" The reporter grinned widely, clearly excited.

He was savvy—getting an interview with Little Iris' mentor would almost guarantee him a headline. A salary increase was definitely on the horizon.

It was Tommy and Bentley. They had come specifically to support Helen during her evaluation.

"Good luck, boss! With us here, you're bound to succeed!" Tommy exclaimed.

"Yeah, boss! Wishing you all the best! I hope you come in first!" Bentley added.

"Do you even know what you're talking about? The highest rank in the Calligraphy Association is A+, not this first or second-level nonsense you're spouting. Honestly, you sound like a certified third-degree moron," Tommy retorted, his sharp tongue as biting as ever.

"Hey, watch it!" Bentley exclaimed, his eyes widening in disbelief.

"Alright, alright," Helen quickly interjected, eager to diffuse the tension. "If someone didn't know better, they might think you two were here to start a fight with me. If you're going to cheer me on, at least do it properly. So, let's behave, okay?"
