At that moment, Chandler burst through the side door, dragging two young men along with him.
Once they reached the center of the living room, Chandler let them go and pushed them toward the stairs.
"Speak up! Who are you? Who sent you?" His voice was low and commanding, exuding authority.
"Francis, Ignatius!" Ryan exclaimed, springing to his feet. "What are you doing here?"
The shorter of the two hesitated before responding, "We overheard some paparazzi planning to ambush you, so we thought we'd come by to help."
The other young man, however, wore a defiant expression. He looked uneasy, as if he didn't want to admit he was there out of concern for Ryan.
Despite this, Ryan understood that there was a soft heart beneath his tough exterior. A warm sensation washed over him as he realized they had all been looking out for each other all along.
"Do you know them?" Chandler asked.
"They're my teammates," Ryan explained. "They mean no harm."
With that, Chandler removed his gloves and approached Helen.
"Did they give you any trouble?" he asked gently.
"No," Helen replied, shaking her head. With a playful smile, she added, "But it seems we might need to move. The security here is really lacking—so many reporters just showed up unannounced, and the property management didn't even bat an eye!"
"I'll replace the entire management team tomorrow," Chandler said, determined to spare Helen any further hassle.
"You can sort that out with your son; I'm staying out of it," Helen said, nodding toward Ryan's teammates.
Changing the subject, she added, "As for these two, you'll need to negotiate their contracts with Starlight Entertainment too."
Vince glanced at the two young men and straightened up. "No problem. Pablo owes me a few favors, so asking him for a few talents shouldn't be an issue."
"Thanks for your help," Helen said.
"Oh, come on! Ms. Spencer, you're being too formal again. If you keep this up, I might actually get upset!" Vince replied with a playful grin.
Noticing Chandler approaching, he got ready to leave. "Since everything is sorted, I won't keep you any longer. Hey Ryan, why don't you and your friends come with me?"
