Granger sent another text before disappearing for the night.
"I'm at a work dinner, you guys go ahead and chat."
After that, he was off the grid.
Once Granger got into his car, he didn't pay much attention to the ongoing conversation and replied, "I'm busy too, catch you later."
Then he closed the messaging app.
Seeing both Thorne and Granger were out of the loop, Vesta chimed in, "Time for dinner, talk later."
Moran was totally speechless.
…
That afternoon, Charlene headed to the R&D department for a meeting. Gaylord was there too.
As Charlene skillfully identified issues and quickly offered solutions, Gaylord watched her without interrupting.
After the meeting wrapped up, Charlene was about to leave when she noticed Gaylord looking her way. She paused and, out of courtesy, asked, "Is your first day at the company going well?"
Gaylord replied, "I'm settling in fine, thanks for asking."
Charlene nodded, said no more, and left the conference room with her laptop.
In the following days, Charlene juggled her work while negotiating a copyright agreement with an AI journal.
On Friday, after reviewing the R&D department's work report, Charlene asked Chester to send Gaylord to her office.
Three minutes later, Gaylord knocked and entered.
Once he was seated, Charlene began, "Your algorithm does enhance the efficiency and performance of the existing model to a degree, but it still isn't quite living up to my expectations."
With that, she began discussing the issues with his algorithm.
Gaylord listened intently. He had been at PrimeStar for three or four days now. He had interacted with Charlene several times.
Her demeanor seemed vastly different from the day of his interview, yet Charlene didn't seem curious or surprised by this change.
Moreover, on his first day, he had sent her a bouquet of yellow roses as an apology.
Yet, days had passed, and Charlene never mentioned the flowers.
It was as if she never received them, and she didn't seem curious about his reason for apologizing.
Charlene's professional prowess was apparent to him during the interview.
However, after joining PrimeStar and witnessing her work firsthand, he realized she was far more competent than he had initially perceived.
In the AI field, Gaylord was considered a prodigy.
But after working with Charlene, he felt he hadn't even scratched the surface of her expertise.
She seemed more innovative and skilled than the big names he had encountered at Goldland.

The readers' comments on the novel: Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne)
Enough already. This novel is dragging slowly. Updated with 2 chapters only. REALLY!!! Whoever the author or authors of this novel why is there a delay in penning more chapters? Here’s my question. In reading the comments from others does their opinions matters and/or make a difference? Are comments being monitored? Or is it only a tool allowing readers to blow off steam?...
Long wait to just get an upload of a couple of chapters. Very little progress in the story if any at all! For heaven's sake the story is 453 chapters so far with nothing or little change from where the story began! Show commitment to us your readers and followers please!...
Hi..its my 1st ever time commenting on any story. But seriously....i dont mean to come as rude but are u seriously thinking about the stroy or losing ur grip on the plot and characters...not updating...no story development...no commitment towards ur readers...u just uploaded 2 chapters after god know how long and still nothing to give to the story..if u dont want to write or simply cant then please dont...
The updates are so slow that I forgot the story for some time and just remembered it and read 20 chapters. The chapters are short and the story development is like a snail. 451 chapters and Charlene still couldn't break her image in other's eyes or dealth some serious damage to Vesta and her trash father....
It would be better to say right away that there are 10 chap/month...
Just give us updates already...
We're stuck at this chapter for over 2wks now Very annoying Thorne and vesta having the tune of their lives while Charlene is stuck More annoying...
Updating chapters to this novel is reminiscent of a sloth. There should be a disclaimer when this site states PUBLISH 10 chaps/day....
Seriously speaking story seems to loosing its grip.. no point in dragging.. it would be better if story gets wrapped within 600 chapters.....
Dragging and no real story. Mistress is having gala time and getting all attention and poor wife is getting neglected. The story is stuck and not moving...forget about the divorce let alone husband regretting. Boring book...
