Chapter 236
Vesta began to focus more on Charlene’s situation.
Watching Charlene navigate the tricky scenario Thorne had set up, in ways she hadn’t expected, made her heart skip a beat. And when she heard Quintin’s cheers, it sank like a stone.
Charlene was intensely focused, her attention solely on the chessboard in front of her.
The situation was steady for now, but she knew winning was nearly…
She paused, glancing at Thorne.
Thorne made his move.
Charlene halted her hand mid–movement.
Campbell observed with a smile, saying, “This is truly impressive. I never thought I’d witness such a captivating chess match in a place like this, especially between two young players. Quite remarkable.”
Quintin, irritated by the noise, snapped, “Keep it down!”
Campbell fell silent.
Several tense minutes ticked by before Charlene finally made her move, managing to slightly even out the tilted board once more.
Two minutes later, Thorne responded with another piece.
Charlene placed the piece she was holding back onto the board and said, “I lost.”
Though she could have continued for a few more moves, the outcome was inevitable.
It wasn’t necessary.
She stood, intending to leave, when Thorne suddenly spoke up, “Another round?”
Charlene paused but eventually sat back down.
Campbell chuckled and said, “This girl, who seems so quiet, actually stood up to challenge a Henderson kid ig a match here. She probably doesn’t often run into opponents as tough as the Henderson boy, does she? Looks like she’s keen not to let this opportunity slip by.”
He was speaking to Stewart.
Stewart nodded in agreement. “Indeed.”
Campbell speculated, “You probably wouldn’t stand a chance against her.”
Despite Stewart being another prodigy in their circle, second only to Thorne.
Stewart admitted frankly, “I wouldn’t.”
After all, Charlene had been Kenton’s chess partner before.
Even though she had never won against him.
Kenton’s reactions and praises made it clear that Charlene was actually a formidable opponent.
And she was so young.
Kenton, as the story went, hadn’t lost a match since his teens.
There weren’t many who received such accolades from Kenton, regardless of age or gender.
It was evident that Charlene’s chess skills were commendable.
As they chatted, Charlene and Thorne had already reset the board.

Chapter 23
Thorne suggested, “Do you want to start?”
“You go first.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne)
Enough already. This novel is dragging slowly. Updated with 2 chapters only. REALLY!!! Whoever the author or authors of this novel why is there a delay in penning more chapters? Here’s my question. In reading the comments from others does their opinions matters and/or make a difference? Are comments being monitored? Or is it only a tool allowing readers to blow off steam?...
Long wait to just get an upload of a couple of chapters. Very little progress in the story if any at all! For heaven's sake the story is 453 chapters so far with nothing or little change from where the story began! Show commitment to us your readers and followers please!...
Hi..its my 1st ever time commenting on any story. But seriously....i dont mean to come as rude but are u seriously thinking about the stroy or losing ur grip on the plot and characters...not updating...no story development...no commitment towards ur readers...u just uploaded 2 chapters after god know how long and still nothing to give to the story..if u dont want to write or simply cant then please dont...
The updates are so slow that I forgot the story for some time and just remembered it and read 20 chapters. The chapters are short and the story development is like a snail. 451 chapters and Charlene still couldn't break her image in other's eyes or dealth some serious damage to Vesta and her trash father....
It would be better to say right away that there are 10 chap/month...
Just give us updates already...
We're stuck at this chapter for over 2wks now Very annoying Thorne and vesta having the tune of their lives while Charlene is stuck More annoying...
Updating chapters to this novel is reminiscent of a sloth. There should be a disclaimer when this site states PUBLISH 10 chaps/day....
Seriously speaking story seems to loosing its grip.. no point in dragging.. it would be better if story gets wrapped within 600 chapters.....
Dragging and no real story. Mistress is having gala time and getting all attention and poor wife is getting neglected. The story is stuck and not moving...forget about the divorce let alone husband regretting. Boring book...
