It was the first time Hera came to the east wing to see Bernard ever since he was discharged from the hospital.
"Did you lock Dyl's laptop?" Hera asked.
Bernard didn't deny it. "I saw that he was coding, so I gave him a slightly difficult challenge for him to solve. I don't believe that our son can't solve it."
"He's still young. There's no need to give him such heavy pressure. Besides, I don't expect them to be amazing. I'll be happy as long as they can grow up safely and healthily."
Bernard noticed that Hera unknowingly showed a sense of gentleness of a mother. He thought that she was even more alluring after giving birth to the kids. He couldn't resist pulling her over and making her sit on his lap.
"What are you doing?" Hera shrieked.
But Bernard didn't let go of her. He wrapped his arms around her waist tightly and said, "Don't move. Let me hug you for a while. In the meantime, I'll ask Dyl for his opinion."
Then, he grabbed his phone and sent a message to Dylan in front of her, "Haven't you solved it? If you can't solve it, I can give you three chances to ask me for guidance."
Dylan responded quickly, "No need. I'll solve it!" Anyone could tell that he was firm.
Bernard waved his phone. "Look. Our son isn't as fragile as you think he is."
"Dyl is more mature than Dora. I think he takes after me," said Hera.
"I think he takes after me, and Dora takes after you." Bernard added, "You were adorable when you were young."
Hera recalled that Bernard had mentioned before that he liked her at a young age. She became vigilant as she questioned, "Are you a pervert?"
"What are you thinking?" Bernard tickled Hera's waist.
Hera shrieked as she was afraid of being tickled. While trying to break free, she accidentally knocked the mouse on the desk.
Bernard immediately stopped tickling her. He held her hand that she had accidentally knocked on the desk. "Does it hurt?"
"Don't you want to get married to me?" Bernard asked.
"Is this how you're proposing?" Hera got up and said disdainfully.
Bernard used to be very romantic in the past. Why was he so stupid now?
Bernard wanted to say that he wasn't proposing this way, but Hera had already left after saying, "Dream on!"
"Are we going Lumiville, then?" Bernard asked.
Hera's voice sounded from outside. "Yes."
Upon hearing that, Bernard smiled. He immediately grabbed his phone and gave Douglas, who had just returned from the one-month training in Astenia, a call. He instructed Douglas to make arrangements according to the plan.
