Gino woke up early in the morning the next day. The first thing he did was to open his gallery to make sure that the photos he had taken with Hera last night still existed. It wasn't a dream.
After freshening up, he ran up the stairs to the 16th floor and rang the bell, but no one opened the door for him.
Gino's heart leaped to his throat. Did Hera run away when he wasn't around?
He proceeded to ring the bell over and over again. After quite some time, the door opened to reveal a yawning Tiffany.
When she saw Gino, she quickly put a finger to her lips to shush him. "Be quiet. Hera's still in bed. She'll be in a fit of rage if she's woken up like this.
Gino heaved a sigh of relief to learn that Hera and the twins were still here. Hera was as short-tempered as always when it came to waking up early in the morning.
Gino headed to the living room and sat on the couch to wait for Hera to wake up. Dylan was already wide awake and was reading in his room. From time to time, he'd get up and pull the blanket over Dora, who kept on tossing and turning when she slept.
Hera finally woke up at 10:00 am. Due to the time difference, she couldn't sleep at night and found it difficult to wake up early in the morning. She wouldn't have set an alarm clock to wake her up if she didn't need to head outside today.
"It's still so early," she said with a yawn when she saw Gino. "Why didn't you sleep a little longer?"
"I'm not that tired anyway," Gino said. He tried so hard to suppress the urge to yawn that his eyes watered a little.
Last night, he was so exhilarated about meeting Hera that he couldn't sleep. Today, he woke up early in the morning, so, of course, he was sleepy.
Even so, he denied being tired, which rendered Hera speechless.
While Tiffany called for a waitress to bring them breakfast, Hera went to the bedroom to wake Dora up.
Dora was still hugging her blankets, unwilling to wake up, when Hera entered the room. "I don't wanna wake up. The homework last night was too tough. I'm sleepy."
With her arms akimbo, Hera stood beside the bed and said, "Okay. You can continue sleeping while Dylan and I go out and have fun. Tiffany will stay and keep you company."
Upon hearing that, Dora kicked her blankets away, leaped out of bed, and darted into the washroom. After she freshened up, she asked, "Where are we going, Mommy?"
