Two weeks passed.
In Ursa Major, Johnson was applying medicine to the wound on Bernard's stomach and the back of his head. The healing process was far from ideal. His mental condition was deteriorating as well.
The dark circles under his bloodshot eyes were so dark as a result of sleep deprivation.
Hera barely cured his insomnia induced by headaches, but he had been suffering from it since the first day she went missing.
"Bernie, time to take your medicine. After you take it, get some sleep." Johnson handed Bernard the anti-inflammatory medicine mixed with some sleeping pills.
He was concerned that with the way things were going, it would take a toll on Bernard's health.
Ignoring the medicine, Bernard glanced at Aaron, who was standing at the end of the bed. "No news yet?"
Like an emotionless robot, he repeated the same question every day.
"No." Aaron shook his head.
His subordinates had been searching for Hera day and night for the past two weeks. They searched every nook and cranny of the area, including the sea, but they failed to find her. It was as if she had vanished in thin air.
A glass shattered by Aaron's feet.
"Why can't you find her? It's been so long! What have you guys been doing? What are you standing there for? Find her right now!"
Felix heard a man shouting angrily and the sound of glass shattering when he reached the door.
Hurriedly, he knocked on the door and entered the room. The man in bed looked like he could lose his sanity at any moment.
