Sean was touched by Molly's words. His heart welled up with tenderness.

He held Molly into his arms and asked, "You've been mad at her for me. Are you still angry?"

"Yes!"

Molly still felt angry. "One slap wasn't enough for her!"

Tony was driving. Hearing Molly's words, he interjected, "Mrs. Anderson is right. One slap is too easy forthat woman! She has a pretty face, but she has no manners. If Mrs. Anderson hadn't slapped her, I'd have taught her a lesson!"

'No one ever dared to offend Mrs. Anderson like that!

'That woman is out of her mind!'

"Mrs. Anderson, what kind of pill did you put in Beth's mouth?" Tony asked curiously.

Molly was surprised. "Beth? How do you know her name?"

Tony then remembered that Molly didn't know the Shepard siblings.

Sean explained, ’They’re the Shepards. The woman's name is Beth Shepard, and the man who sold you the herbs is Selon Shepard."

"What? They're the Shepards?" Molly was surprised.

She didn't think she'd know the Shepards in this situation!

Sean laughed softly. His laugh was low and he looked quite happy.

"What are you laughing at?" Molly felt a little embarrassed.

She rarely said a word of affection, but Sean laughed at her!

Sean shook his head, "I'm not laughing at you. I'm just happy... It feels wonderful to be protected by a woman for the first time."

Then he teased, "If anyone offends me again in the future, you must protect me like you did today."

Molly was amused. She slapped him on the chest and retorted, "Come on! How many people dare to mess with you? People like Beth are rare; she is a stupid spoiled brat."

"Honestly, Mrs. Anderson, I'm amazed! You are a valiant soldier!" Tony gave Molly a thumbs up as the car waited at a red light.
